Bored at work on inauguration day, I thought why not take a look-see over at the old Warcraft forums to see what rogues have been up to lately. Clicking through their general discussion forums I came across a Community Manager post on the topic of their Classic Server Update.

The first sentence in the second paragraph nearly brought me to tears:
"These past few months weGÇÖve been laser-focused on the launch of Legion and getting Patch 7.1: Return to Karazhan ready to go (itGÇÖs almost here!), as well as prepping..."

I believe they are taunting us. I believe they are mocking us. They think that the world (...of warcraft) is their oyster!? That it's just a shell for them to shuck and suck the slippery salty goodness from?! I say no!! If I still had my Ion Pistol---ooooh, if I still had my pistol--- why I'd kick in the Goldshire Tavern door and blast every starter character I could find shouting into my mic, "You will NOT suck MY oysters!? Ya lils fargin' bastages!?"

WoW needs to burn. Slowly. Like those weird lil warthog man-bear-pig things that try to run away when you set them on fire then fall over grunting. you know those things that camp out around Westfall ...I guess? You usually find them patrolling around the open fields on the way to Moonbrook. Like... if I could bring over my DUST514 gear to that zone? I'd kill that damned carpenter that never seems to build anything! He just keeps sawing wood. Over... and over.... and over.... OMG WTF DOES HE DO WITH ALL THAT WOOD?! I'll tell you what *i'd* do with all that wood. No, it doesn't have anything to do with your momma, but it's still kinda hot. I'd BURN THAT MUTHER DOWN!!! Not your mother. I mean... like. slang. or something. Implying that I'd burn all of Westfall down. Or, rather, all of Warcraft. I'd burn down the world ...of warcraft.

Yeah, the op is from like October or something. And really, it has nothing to do with anything. BUT OMG it's the principle of the matter!!!1!

Yeah this is pretty painful tinfoil. I'm not sure what's worse, the false idea that the terms "Legion" and "Laser focused", even in combination, are unique to CCP....Or the idea that Blizzard gives a **** about CCP which makes games that are not even remotely similar to Blizzards titles.

Wait, I've got it, CCP is in Iceland. Iceland gets cold. Blizzards are cold.

Is CCP actually the same company as Blizzard?! I better go make a YouTube video where I pass off this stupid idea as fact!

If they also mentioned photon gear, I'd admit it might be more than coincidence... But no one has Photon Gear... We might never have any Photon Gear... And it's all Donald Trump's fault.
