Talos Vagheitan Ancient Exiles. 3033	Posted - 2017.01.05 17:40:00 - [1] - Quote Well not quite, but hopefully we can get close. Halo 5 has a pretty sophisticated level editor. Long story short, we can rebuild all the Dust assets and even maps from scratch if we want to. I was messing around in the Halo Forge for about an hour this AM and the results are promising. I'll show some screens, they're all works in progress of course and need painting etc. Scales were also eye-balled. If you're willing to help please let me know. Once we have the assets and maps complete we can re-create the original Dust experience by editing player traits to reduce jump height to 10%, placing invisible path-blockers all over the map randomly, slowing everybody down, and making sure to all stream 10 Youtube video's at once to create lag. Besides, I already spend a lot of time making custom things in this level editor. Also, I think you really under-estimate how much work is involved in creating a game from scratch. Trying to make a Dust-inspired game from scratch, as a group of rag-tag volunteers, while the professionals are (allegedly) working on the very same thing.... now that would just be silly. Here's the container underneath tabletop, with Domination Terminal scripted to be captured by either team and start accumulating score by the team who captures. So for example at match start you can choose a customized loadout with specific player traits based on the Dust factions Caldari: Stronger shields, long range weapon, lower armor, grey armor Amarr: Beam weapon start, gold armor Min: Faster speed, more shields, higher jump height (lol) Gal: Slow speed, less shields etc...
