I propose prehensile genitalia modifications (as well as accompanying armor) so that the industrious merc could wield the Plasma cannon between his legs (or hers, not sure how that pans out), effectively allowing them to duel wield.
Reloading has been an issue, but our scientists are hard at work on a sphincter based storage and retrieval device that's sure to revolution the battlefield of tomorrow.

I loved the plasma cannon, apart from the massive CPU cost.
The ultimate derp gun, capable of insta-killing anything that gets near you, be it a scout or a heavy.

I have post bringing up this subject essentialy (not a remake but a homebrew server) Waiting for commentary on the subject from someone more knowledgable on the subject of Dust514s game servers
