Just being curious, how have the lot of you been spending your time these last couple of weeks? Anything interesting or funny happen?
All I got is a new phone, and it's not even that high-end, but it's enough for my needs.
Gotta get my PS3 dusted so it doesn't sound like a vacuum every time I try to play games.
And holy crap, today was a hot day in Croatia.
Life has taught me a valuable lesson:

I am rereading the Kris Longknife series. 13 books + 3 novellas, and the 14th book comes out in October. Then there is a 3 or 4 book +1 Novella spinoff series.
Maybe by the time I am done rereading that series I will start looking for another video game to play.

Been playing Doom on the PS4 and waiting for the console release of Warhammer 40K: Eternal Crusade.
Hopefully EC will fill the tactical shooter gap that Dust left behind.

I got my AS results back about 2 weeks ago. In England we have what's called 'A-level qualifications' (Advanced-level), which are the standard academic qualifications 18-year-olds take, and students start studying for them from 16. The AS-level (Advanced-Subsidiary) is the midway point qualification that (typically) 17-year-olds take before they get their full A-levels.
I got AAAB, which I'm very happy with. Each of these grades represents a subject. So I got A's in Law, English Literature, and Politics, and got a B in History. There is no A* (A+) grade for the AS.
Next up I'll be applying to universities within a couple months. I'll be applying to study Law.
Also I've been watching Kantai Collection and WateMote, and playing a little BF4.
We did it for Nigel ( ; ~;)7
Come play BF4 with me on PS3! PSN: AnimeLover456

Therapy.
Learning sign language, drawing again. Want to go to Art school/engineering. Was invited to Comic-Con. Yeah its boring ish around here. Learning not to say yes to everything because I don't want to bruise anyones ego. Lots of egos have been bruised because now i say no to everything. It's the small things that are a big deal so get excited.

DUST ends, now i can move on. Finally.

Life's good man, I'm def feeling the void. I'm a little bit bummed that my outdoor is taking a hit (early bad weather), been trying to get into John Grisham's Rogue Lawyer and overall just trying to stay busy. IT'S football season, thank God , so I'm going to my kids games and watching football. I came across a video last night on YouTube by Admiral Evo called the Last moments of Dust, and I swear I thought I might cry, sad I know. I'm amazed that a stupid video game can effect you almost as if you were left by the love of your life. Anyway, I'm doing one day at a time.

Hrm. Decided to finish my degree I left hanging way back in 99. Wrapped that up this past December, so that chapter is finally closed. Broke up with my gf of three years because of stuff. Job and moods have improved all around (coincidentally). My grandpa just passed away a few weeks ago. That was rough. Family came in and psycho-aunt cleared everything of his out of the house before my grandma could say no. Dog also has a tumor in her bladder, so that's any day/week/month now. On the bright side, the vet didn't expect her to last this long, yet she's still kicking. Yay, puppy! I just turned 40 last week and that's depressing, considering that I'm still single lol. Damnit, ex! *angry old man fist in the air motion* On the other side of that coin, my grandpa on my mother's side died of some weird heart thing at like 31 or something. So I kinda look at it like any year past that marker is a bonus. I downloaded a copy of FF8 and I've spent more time in that than most any game since Bioshock 2. It's kind of weird how simple the game is now that I'm older, and how tech has evolved. Been listening to 100 days/100 nights by Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings pretty much on repeat for 2 days straight. That or the White Stripes, Get Behind me Satan. I want to start painting again, but need to clear the garage or build a workspace off the house in the back lot at some point to do it. Thinking about getting back into sax again too. Maybe I can find a nice tenor or bari at a pawn shop one day.
All in all, things aren't that bad. Could be better. Could be a hell of a lot worse. That's life, such that it is.
