Did you ever pretend you were recording videos when you were playing and do a running commentary, or you just ramble on about DUST to the air? I did that a lot.
We did it for Nigel ( ; ~;)7

No, I would usually just hit the record button. Better to immortalize my stupidity than to let it fade away

Did you ever watch an entire volume of Nekopara in the evening, and then spent the most of the night talking to yourself quietly in bed whilst lying on your back, staring at the ceiling, talking about which parts of it you liked most, and trying to come up with what might happen in the next volume?
Anyone?
Life has taught me a valuable lesson:

Anyone? I like to drown out those thoughts by listening to gregorian chant through a surround system with the volume maxed out when I sleep.

No. But when asked what my favorite game is (DUST obviously) got diagnosed with OCD within thirty seconds.
I get points for that right?

I had the opposite problems. When running with new players who did not have mics yet I would forget to talk because I was not hearing anyone else talk. I needed to hear someone else on coms before I would remember to verbalize the tactical information I was seeing.
It made it hard to set a good example for how to communicate tactical data efficiently when I kept forgetting to communicate.

I would ramble on about nothing and nonsense, but usually to my squad. If I was solo DUST became significantly more boring so I didn't have has much excitement to tap into.
My advice to you, playa.

I was under the impression that comms were for bitching about snipers and shotgunners (without giving details on their locations, of course). That's all I ever heard, and that's why I just turned off chat.

I wonder if anyone would ever copy my fits or try to use my same tactics. Comms were hilariuos but only italians would have understood. Mostly i could keep watching some of my best games instead of let them fade in my mind lol

That's all I ever heard, and that's why I just turned off chat. I ran a new player training Corp. I was supposed to give a good example and show how Coms should be used. Some of the guys who ran with me regularly got very good at tactical use of coms.
Of course I also joined Squad Finder public squads sometimes, so I know exactly what you are referring to.

Three of them did not speak any English. I had a great time with those guys.

Didn't realize till around shutdown that the peeps I ran with towards the end nobody liked. Maybe that's why after years of playing I made only a handful of friends
