Well , as many of you ( Myself Included ) been trying to scavenge for any signs of a good FPS that resembles Dust514 . I might have finally found something in the same sense of feel for the Game in ( Battlefield 2142 ) . Theres an open server available if you have a p.c from 2010 & up . Its completely updated with 20+ maps & some modification customizations on suit & weapons . Lavs , tanks , dropships etc .

Its actually pretty good . Its gamepad/controller compatible . Big matches 20 v 20 , huge maps , several crows nest & high points etc , Anticheat monitors etc . To join battle server , just have to manually input i.p in history side & thats it. Create character & corp/clan etc . Its a free online battle server, so dont expect to much .

Dust514 for me ran at 20-25fps 720p (1280+ù720) on a good day , BF2142 since everything is up to date & no more big updates or mechanics needed , runs at 25-29fps 720p (800x720) roughly . So far i like 20 v 20 matches & not having to worry about unloading a whole clip on a scout & not taking damage due to lag & other witch craft sorcery they conjure up . Its a generic fps with the feel of Dust514 ( links , rep hives , rep tools , ammo , body scans , tanks , ads , lavs ) pretty immersed actually . Like i said , its a free download & if you like p.c games , give it a go. Dont like using keyboard & mouse , then use a gamepad or controller (ds3 tool) free software Motioninjoy .

I used to love that game but the Gamespy servers shutdown and I couldnt log in thru origin anymore.
Happy to see someone got it working without them.
Will try to get this going sometime this weekend
Titan was the best gametype.

At 1st i thought this was pre alpha Dust514 game footage. Then spoke with the dude keeping the server alive & been playing since . Fun game still with a lot of community built maps & game modes . Pretty hardcore some of them lol

Im enjoying the skirmishes in Titan matches . Takes a full team effort to get it done . No solo im a hero movie scenes lol

I thought the same thing . But since its a re-modded game by current devs , its 2010-2013 graphics at best . Didn't expect 4k graphics lol

It was my first Battlefield game IIRC, I played thousands of hours of the game back when it was still the newest one and the population was huge.
Always hoped DUST will fill the void left by that game.

It may not be new anymore , but its still kinda fun with the same feel as Dust514 . Starting to get the hang of flying the ADS & using the Walkers . Paratrooping is new to me trying to land near enemy bases without being spotted. 07
