This deffo needs to be upgarded.
1.. First off since its so hard to land a melee hit, it should be instant kill, this is basic in every FPS and the DUST melee system is aggravating as f***. Because of how slow, hard to land and useless the Melee is, it should either be dropped from the game all together or made instant kill.
2.. My weapon CHOOSES whether it hits or not at close range AND long range, even if im peppering into the enemy with a full clip, dead on cross-hairs, as a result i get killed. This SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. I've wasted time AND KDR shooting enemies who haven't even noticed me yet dead on and no hit-marker.. no damage.. its practically useless also. This has to be tweeked pretty quickly.
3.. The Zoom Scope (Reticle) on the assault rifles is too big, it needs to be sized down so you can view peripheral. Getting killed while aiming and shooting at someone else is common.. getting killed while aiming is annoying yes, BUT getting killed while shooting outside of the Scope (Hip-fire and Spray) in Close combat is BS, there is NO spray range, outside of the scope there SHOULD be spray range! its what keeps you alive in those intense moments where you are caught off guard and need to pray and spray quickly. |

Try getting more skills as they reduce the spread and increase the damage you deal with a specific weapon type. |

I don't really understand what you're trying to say here, is it that the guns are too accurate outside of ADS? |

Well, you're in a supersuit, which probably reduces the human errors of recoil and instability, and if the knife was an OHK, then the knife skills would be pointless, as well as the knife being overly powerful. By the logic of knife is OHK, a single bullet should be OHK, but knives doing more damage on the rear of the target would make sense. Also, weapons have effective ranges. Your AR won't even scratch a fellow who is as big as your cross-hair. |

2.The hit detection has been improved greatly since the last update.I dont think theres anything broken other than a few bullets hit but i did not get a hitmarker

What the f**k are you talking about in the second part?Do you mean we should make it easy mode because someone managed to sneak up on you?Getting killed while shooting in close quaters means nothing other than your opponent managed to kill you not that the game is broken. |

I think the OP meant that when you ADS you lose your peripheral vision. Don't shoot the messenger here but... in games like BF or CoD if you use a red dot which is essntially what the assault scopes are in DUST as as they don't really give you any magnification, you can still see around the edges of the screen. Personally I dont have an issue with the DUST scope. At least I think that was what the OP was getting at. |

The knife skill is useless? whos going to want to boost that crap skill when its virtually impossible to land a hit with it anyway? that would just be a waste of time and ISK. compared to how hard it is to land a hit, the melee should be instant kill. And no bullets should not be, its simple FPS physics, theres always an insta-kill move because its harder to land and sharper. The people who dont like the idea are the people who get knifes often, im not one of those people, im the one that does the knifing. The blade physics in DUST are S***. I gave up using it haha
And the hit markers have improved a lot, i think it was just at the start as the servers were being flooded the games ran a bit slower, not to mention connection can sometimes be fuzzy. That was a resolved issue
And in regards to the comment by Nellantar.. its simple, i meant the scope takes up the whole screen, i like to be able to have a clear view of my peripherals, stops you getting ambushed as easy. Makes the weapon feel sharper If they reduced it in size, say bigger than the SMG reticle sight yet not the whole screen if you catch my drift, increase the sensitivity for aiming and it would be spot on.
A lot of people feel the same, a lot feel different. No-body plays the same as somebody else in retrospective. I didnt post for a pointless argument, i posted with feedback.

And spot on. Although the more you play the more you get use to it. i started using the method of shooting without ADS then zooming into ADS for the last few rounds at close range, it makes the assault rifles much more accurate as firing then snapping in tends to actually snap to the target and nails the hit. A lot of sneaky wee ways to kill in this game.. haha
Regardless of the bugs and issues that multiple people have with different aspects of the game, i think its pretty much brilliant for beta testing, really looking forward to see what CCP do for the polished product |
