...I accidentally kill my quest-giver? He asked me to fish for him or something. You know, the stable-keep near the castle? Yeah, he said I could fish the moat or something to help him out. I guess I pissed him off opening some box that appeared to be unclaimed and he attacked me. Now that I think about it, maybe he attacked me because I was bitten by a vampire during the night? hm...
Either way, he's dead now. And from my understanding, he was a gateway to the next story quest.
ugh.
And if I have to fight another dragon AND a camp of trolls that can one-shot me, I am done with this game.
DEVS: fix this crap!
P.S. When does Macho Man come out? I thought I would have seen him by now.
P.P.S. In another level, I hate that I can't carry but one item. Find the key.... oh? I have to carry a ladder to cross a river? What? I need a sword now to kill a Q dragon thing? Now I have to drop my sword to carry this key back to another castle? After unlocking the gate, I have to run all the way back to retrieve my sword...again? WHY!!!
And wtF is up with these agents every where I go? I speed run to the next screen and fall in yet another pit to either revive a dead flower or piece together this janky record player thing. By the time I get out, that agent is there waiting and arrests me. I Always die!!! That kid is never where I need him to be. I hate this game.

And that's why I never really got into RP games.
After the Krondor series (my age showing?), I pretty much focused on FPS games.
And yes, I think most of us miss Dust.

Oh there were a few thrown into it all. E.T. and Adventure from the old Atari 2700 (how's THAT for showing age, hm?), Realms of KOAS (RoK) from the late 90s maybe? That was an addictive online text-based MUD that shared a similar fate as DUST. The first was Elder Scrolls. Never really got into that one, so that's all I could remember of it but the Macho Man thing made me laugh.
