I was heavily involved in small gang PVP in Syndicate through most of 2012, and then helped to take over Esoteria near the end of that year, getting a bit of the Null Sec experience as well. I have mostly just been using my EVE character to support my DUST Corp for the last few years. I am thinking I might cancel his account until we hear something more about Nova. Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

Never played socially due to schedule and hermit behavior so I just hid in starter corp helping new players before handing them off to proper player corps. I don't need friends when I have drones I guess. Generally i play a few months at a time then I'm out a year or two. My sp is miserable considering my birthdate ;) I just resubbed and spent two days looking for a special medical bay thinking they hid the old clone upgrade/insurance thing like a research slot. I planned to be a manufacturer but I learned the hard facts about T2 materials. I then tried several EVE based corps that ended up quickly dying out after I joined them. After that, I joined my DUST corp and played missions along with some militia warfare. I tried EVE again shortly before my year subscription was up and even though it changed a bit it was still basically the same for me. EVE can be a fun game if you have lots of time and find an active corp but I don't have the time for it. I cannot be bought, but I can be leased.

Considering how Jita has been the long-standing metric for how the economy in Eve is doing, it's pretty damn hard to imagine anyone playing Eve Online without ever going to Jita. However, with the recent introduction to player-built Citadels that might soon change as many of them in high-sec enable players to compete in trade using the Citadels thanks to the benefits they have over NPC stations.
