Devs, check it.
So Nova's going to be PC at least, Free to play, is there away players could earn isk in Nova to save for EvE pilots licences? I know a lot of Dust fans cant see past the 6vs6 map at fanfest and cant get there head around the facts its a project and not a final product but I believe you are not making a smaller vesion of a FPS but rather a larger one, Well I'm the guy they laughed at when Legion wasn't heard form and I still believed something was/is coming. still back on topic. if we had cheaper equipment if the isk value was decressed in Nova then players would grind for a PLEX which you would make harder to earn in nova than EvE, I'm just thinking that earning isk in Nova could path the way to expand the EvE player base.

CCP Rattati said the first phase of integration between the two games was going to be economic, so it would make sense to eventually take that link beyond each side producing selected items for the other up into full market integration in the future.

the avrage plex cost atm is about 900 mill the isk prices are fine where they are right now

Another thing to keep in mind is that if they went for economic link we'd probably see suit prices FAR lower than they were in Dust so that they match with the cost of EVE assets. The old prices didn't really make any sense considering that an HAV in Dust cost 4x a Frigate in EVE, which is a ******* 747/A380 sized spaceship.

yea whats that got to do with what I said? I'm not talking about pumping up prices, pilots do that not ccp. I'm talking about earning isk in Nova so you can buy a plex and start playing eve too. |

I'm kind of curious where you're getting your values for the cost of a fitted frigate....because I can assure you that the frigates I used cost far more than my best HAV in Dust.
Not to mention the ISK generation in EVE is significantly higher. You can easily make millions of ISK in a single derpy level 4 mission which takes less than 20 minutes. Null sec ratting yeilds much higher ISK/hour rates.
So I'm not the best DUST players but I'm guessing most players were not making 10-20 million ISK a battle in Dust...so grinding for ISK in Dust would be horrifically slower than just doing it in EVE.
