In EvE online there are battles with thousand players involved For technical reasons and gameplay it can not do in a FPS
and if some districts were larger?
to win over large districts your corp should participate in more battles simultaneously and the course of each battle can influence other with various bonuses, buffs and malus such as: - Hack bonus - Clone count - Respawn time - Bonus shield - Armor repair rate - Damage bonus - Artillery Strike etc.
there should be more types of districts is to give space to small and medium corporations and small or large alliances
Small: for small corporations (a battle at a time) Medium: for medium to large corporations (2-3 battles at a time) Large: for large corporations or small alliances (5-6 battles at a time) XLarge: for large alliances (10+ battles at a time)
something like that what do you think?

I always thought the PC Eve Connection should have been: You as a Nova corp: You can initiate either a raid or attack. Raids kill clone counts, you keep what you hack, steal, kill, however you have a limited number of clones and a much smaller roster while the defenders can have as manybclones on the district as well as far more players they can field. This means small groups can mess with large armies, especially if they are very skilled and wish to serve as a distraction. However, it shouldn't matter distrixt ize so much as Security Status. High sec, raids only because open warfare would make corps look bad. Medium sec, more resources, open warfare tolerable but EvE can only get involved with some restrictions. Breakin them puts them at war. Null sec districts are where megawars happen and you'll have your 2-3 battles all happening plus dozens of raids.

What I'd like is for planetary conquest to be a place to set up resource gathering, satellites, and factories. Player attacks to districts should occur naturally as raids to steal whatever is being produced and and stored in a vault. Trying to take a district would be to take over the expensive infrastructures.
There needs to be more for all corp members to do on districts. This is where the satellites would come in. Satellites would find hotspots for players to look for rarer loot like the blueprints in eve's exploration. You'd use multiple satellite probes to pinpoint the best spots. I could see there being orbital artillery satellites, combat scanners, clone bay launchers, etc.
I remember making a post about eve players hiring dust mercs to improve pi efficiency. Pi is ran by drones so if they go roguee, or if another player/npc infest the pi it could make for some meaningful pve. |

I think first and foremost we need to forget PC existed in Dust.
It was proven to be a flawed model for an end game type mode.
I have faith that Rattati will come up with something better based on what he learned from Dust as a whole. Having to wait 1 - 2 days for a single battle is just an unacceptable mechanic for what is suppose to be the highest level of the game. |

I loved PC but it was beyond broken..hope they keep the same idea..get some kind of resources from holding districts or ships or whatever but you have to actually fight and not farm |

It's an interesting idea that has been kicked around before. The difficulty is designing a legitimately fun gameplay experience that makes use of this kind of dynamic. In the very worst case, you end up making a game mode where people feel "robbed" of a good play experience by the result of a battle that's beyond their control. This is actually something that happened a good deal in MAG, for instance.
In some sense this idea is a generalization of the original idea of cross Eve-Dust play. It's just that instead of having an instance of Eve that's affecting a single instance of Dust, you've got multiple instances of Dust affecting one another. If you think of it this way I think it highlights the big design challenges, since this type of gameplay really fell on its face when tried previously.
