Needed a summer break. I have just been diagnosed with an allergy, and that (according to me) explains my behaviour at school... and life. Anyway, I was getting headaches, but hopefully Dust VR fixes that when I can afford it, Meanwhile, I have just realised why I love low-level flying. It reminds me of skateboarding. My bro bought me a board, and after 6 months of feeling like a kid again... I was on my way to Glazed-Ham Hill, at night... the darkest, steepest, G-narliest hill in the southern hemisphere, and 2 minutes away from there, less than a block away... God said, "Don't be silly, son."... and my board snapped Thanks God
Anyway, I'll put pics up when I can. I fell, but it was like super slo-mo, kinda anti-climactic, but I'm o.k. How's everything Dust-side.... oh dear...
I've got 4000 dropships to get rid of, i'll be dropping em down for people all over the place. Remember, if you see one... thrust till you're HIGH (not under the MCC) ... then... practice moving,
Here's some tips i've picked up. First of all. Kaalikiota Dropships (The awesome looking red ones) can be restocked using 220 Aurum. but you can't buy them from the market, so you have to restock after you get some in a crate. Unfortunately, this doesn't work for Quafe Dropships.
Secondly, the 'Hellmar' Heavy Dropsuit comes with a 'Steelmine' Boundless Heavy Machine Gun, but it is grey, instead of the red it should be. If you buy a 'Steelmine' Boundless HMG, then apply it to your Hellmar suit, it will turn it into the proper red colour, but you won't lose the gun that you bought. This is not an exploit, as the 'Hellmar' suit comes with the 'Steelmine' gun already, You will lose the entire suit, but not the gun itself, so it will continue to be red (till you lose all your 'Hellmar' suits.
20 or so days till Fanfest, I'll be flying around lots till then. Join me and Nirwanda in 'TheMorningCrew' channel and say hello to The C-O-B-R-A and his pals. See you in the next chapter, wherever we end up. It was a hell of a ride. Viva Dusties o7 |

If your having headaches at least for me VR, 3DS things like that will make it worse. But its different for everyone. I can't watch movies in 3D, or use a VR if it doesn't make my head throb it'll give me BAD vertigo. Since were talking real life I'm teaching myself to skateboard. Reading gives me headaches as well.
I think if i try to teach myself ill get over my fear of falling, then expand my skating to OUTSIDE. But for now, I'm happy when i can stand on it for 10 secs without falling, at least its not cement.

How about when you're outside? I thought getting headaches was related to staring at a screen too long, but I think it's related to my allergy. Getting outside, or having the windows open relieves any symptoms. Have you had a blood test, ever?
On the VR note, I really think VR movement would be more natural than looking straight ahead. I can't wait to get one. VR's gonna change the face of entertainment, in all areas. Put it this way. Before VR, the ultimate setup was 'owning' a cinema... or an IMAX park. VR is bigger than that. It's 'all around', not some rectangle in front of you... no matter how big the cinema is, you're still staring in one direction. It's not a natural movement. What VR set have you been using?
Eve Valkyrie's the flagship of VR at the moment, and I'm really hoping for some Dust and Eve news on the VR front, as well. Can't wait for Fanfest. We're going through an evolution. Let's hope we see our Dusties together, on the other side |

I have seasonal allergies and weak lungs. If its too hot or cold or windy I'm not breathing much and coughing til i get inside. A change in air quality, upstairs to downstairs, outside to inside will make my chest and head hurt and hard time breathing. Once i adjust to the change my headache eases up and i can breath better.
I don't own VR but i tested something similar and i could hardly walk cause i got such a bad headache and vertigo. So going out, staying in, allergy/sinus meds and headache meds are my friend. And not freaking out before i can adjust to the change.
I think VR & 3D bothers me too cause i wear semi thick glasses IRL, with them off i know generally what I'm looking at but its super blurred unless its about an inch from my face, so i guess that type of thing messes with my eyes. Mix of near & farsighted. That alone gives me headaches lol.

You just may have figured out why humanity moved into all different climes. Allergies might be natures way of diversifying the species, so that no single threat can eliminate it entirely. Well done |
