Please, please... PLEASE let PVE be on the first release, even the beta for the game if possible. Seriously. In my brief experience playing EVE, the PVE quests that acted as tutorials were extremely helpful. I believe next batch of newbies would do well with it, especially if it gave them some starter ISK and equipment for free. Also PVE isn't only helpful for tutorials, it's also very useful for just giving players other things to do than PVP all day. Clear the drones, stomp out the Blood Raiders, protect the installation, etc.
SN: I may come back to this thread just to bump it with more suggestions for PVE.

I agree that PvE should be a key feature from launch and not just a side thing that gets added on later.

SN: I may come back to this thread just to bump it with more suggestions for PVE. It is a giant "if" topic. But as far as I was active during the existence of "Project Legion" forum, I can tell that if we will see ever a new FPS game releases from CCP it would definitely have the skeleton of PvE content with it. Going in to the details is pointless.

I agree that PvE needs to be included at least to further improve on the new-player experience so newbros can have a place to practice and hone in their skills before facing real players. Literally every other FPS out there has this even though they are online-focused. Counter Strike Global Offensive even gives you a chance to face off against bots if you're just looking to practice on your own.

A PVE tutorial like the one described in the thread linked below would be awesome.

An open world with regional pve events would be nice imo. May i can grab some friends and roam for resources or cause trouble in other cities.
Maybe to begin with have a starter world in each empire with a number of mercs per city/district. The citiez could be invaded by drones if the population not kept in check.
Or sansha if an incursion is happening in system.
Matches on planet could then be like a wardec or something. Or maybe we have basebuilding later for people to contest land.
Matches to take stations if eve players want to take over a citedel rather then destroy it.
But PVE gives something else to do and is a positive in my book.
Anyone getting annoyed by reading of the above post should consider the following.
I don't care so neither should you :)
