I've always sold these when I've gotten them, I now have 2.
What do? How should I run it? Should I run it at all? When should I run it?
I can't see any reason to run it, I don't really need any other items so no point selling or trading but would it be such a waste to see it unused when the game shuts down?
I mean what would be more of a waste, using it and losing it or not using it and losing it when the game shuts down?
I know people just keep them as warbarge suits.

I would say it depends, If you have limited time and you really love using your normal suits just sell them or give them away.
I threw away 2 archdukes trying weird fits this morning I don't regret my mediocre performance at all,
I can only play normally for about an 1 hour then I like mucking around.
dust514 is NOT a team sport like football, Most players would make their team lose if it got their squad more kills.

You really have to ask? Use it and lose it man.
If you had $100K and no dependents would you spend the money (or give it to charity) or just leave it in the bank if you know you have only one month to live??
I have a couple hundred balac ck0 suits and I'm trying to burn them all. But my controller is so fried, it's hard staying on dust for more than two games.

good point. couple hundred! wow, I knew people were stockpiling though, I have a small amount in comparison but I still doubt I'll get through all this officer gear as I don't die much with it, and if I did die with it a lot, it would be on purpose but I see no point in that.
My satisfaction will come from making videos, whatever I have left or don't have left it will all boil down to how much content I can create in the next 2 months
