We've all seen the infamous GÇ£LAV GlitchGÇ¥ where someone has made a ghost duplication of their LAV so it's invulnerable to any form of damage while making the driver invisible so you can not see their name... if you haven't witnessed this, then you have been fortunate. Well did you know that you can infact destroy the glitched LAV?
Step 1 - Find the LAVGÇÖs original location. What you have to do is work out where the original LAV is located; where it was originally first duplicated. If you have a look at this video clip, you can see the LAV warping back to its original location. You can cause this to happen by locking onto it with swarms (as shown in the video) or by grabbing a dropship, pilot up to the map ceiling where rendering distances start to drop off which causes the glitched LAV to again warp back to its original location.
Step 2 - Destroying the original LAV Now you have located the original location of the glitched LAV you now have to destroy it; they will not be invulnerable and will easily be destroyed by usual AV, however unfortunately the driver will not be there for you to report their ass or get the kill. I personally will use an Assault Derpship to I to fly on over to the location as they are usually very deep within their redline and time is key. You will die from the red line timer but its worth it just to put a stop to it. Once you have destroyed the original LAV it will take about two minutes for the sever to register the glitched LAV was destroyed and despawn it from wherever it was.
Step 3 - There is no step three. On any map where I've seen the glitched LAV blocking the objective making it impossible for anyone to hack I've used this method and its worked 90% of the time..... the hard part is causing the LAV to start warping to its original location, as it doesn't always work but the methods I've described have worked for me.
Hope this helps and happy hunting o7

Yay, very useful as I've even seen glitched tanks now.
It's also useful to always mark vehicles when they are spanned so you at least get an idea of where the original is.

Or you could ram it with a tank. I did that the other day, it was very funny.

I wonder how exactly is it that they do it but, with what you have shown I'm starting to get some ideas as to how. Every now and then I will spawn into the game but for whatever reason my character would get stuck behind a wall or obstacle. For some reason this confuses the game making it so that my character is able to move around the game freely yet, I can't kill anybody. The reason is that although I see and control my character, the real asset (my clone) is in a different location. I can move around for as long as my clone doesn't get kill. I remember one time where my teammate was telling me that I was stuck halfway in an oil tank. I told him NO, I'm standing right next to you. Here I'm meleeing you. Can you see it? he said no I still see you behind the oil tank.
I therefore think that the LAV glitch is caused in a similar way. Either the clone is stuck and they call an LAV or the LAV is stuck behind something and they can simply control the phantom version.
I wish I could replicate it at will. No, not the LAV glitch but the being able to walk about freely with my clone because then I could explore behind the red line and go explore. Dust maps are huge. We only use about 20% of the maps. |

You are correct in how it is done, for the most part, there is a way to replicate the lav at will (it's been shared before, I don't believe that it needs to be again) and with the lav glitch you can go into the redline for a ways, the only issue with the lav glitch (other than glitch ing the game out) is that it takes forever to begin, hence why it normally starts halfway through most matches.
Though I will say it is more fun jumping around with it, you can go insanely high if you get enough speed with it.

I know how its done and your thoughts on how to replicated it are pretty far off...... I'm not going to explain how its done either as posting instructions to do this will inevitably cause people to try it out and and thus spreading the glitch around will make people use it!

Could you explain to me in detail exactly how it is you find the original LAV's location? Couldn't really understand how to do that from the video.
Thankyou so much for posting this, I really despise the LAV glitch. I'm not sure most game's will give me the time to kill the original LAV before the game crashes, but I'd like to have the option to try.

Ok so as you can see in this video the LAV is warping to its GÇ£original locationGÇ¥ (at the base of the tower when he shoots it) which is the place from where it was first duplicated. This is where the physical and destroyable GÇ£original versionGÇ¥ is located that you need to then drive or pilot on over to, to destroy the said GÇ£original versionGÇ¥ to remove the duplicate from the burn zone.
Original Version = The physical LAV that was first called in by RDV that stays in the location from where it was first copied and can not be driven or moved by friendly blue dots; but is destroyable. Glitched / Duplicate LAV = Copied from the original, that is now invulnerable causing havoc and lag.
Can't really explain it any better than that, hope this helps o7

Yeah, you stack a bunch of REs on the side of the vehicle so they form one big tower, then bump the tower into a solid object in the environment without bumping said object with the vehicle.
It works on any vehicle. I tried it out with a squad last year and we used the dislocated vehicle to cause ourselves to teleport up into the air and fall back to the ground by jumping on it. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that eventually someone figured out how to weaponize it and ruin the game with it.
