Port is a bad word for it. A "Dust inspired" game is under development for PC.

Yes you get hackers a lot on PC but that's because of small development companies renting servers from cheap and unprotected locations. However this wont happen not on CCP's own private servers; they will ban your home address from ever connecting to the game again, stopping hackers from creating new accounts once they get banned in the first place.
This why CCP have a band called "Permaband" - because when you get banned its permanent.
