So.....what's going on?
Some guys are coming over from EA? Like, from playing EA games, or are you actual EA employees?
I know you're not suppose to throw rocks at a sleeping donkey, but I'll bite. I'm a bit curious about how deep this rabbit hole goes.
Assuming this isn't silly alt-ery, have any of you strapping young lads spent much time in Dust? Or is there a pack of dudes downloading Dust for the first time as we speak? |

Well, to mine you are gonna need to find some twigs and some flint. This can be tricky because trees are very rare in Tranquility. Anyway, once you have gathered those materials create a pickaxe. Mineral deposits will appear when you have equipped the pickaxe.
Pro tip- If you create a Corp and the leader maxes out the Corporation section of the skill tree, it will unlock a new skill tree section which will allow you to skill into mining core skills, which increases the durability of your pickaxes.
On the transfer of ISK from EVE to Dust, you will need to purchase a beacon from your Warbarge. Unfortunately it would take you guys, being new players, about 5-6 months at best before you would be able to aquire said beacon. But do not despair! I would be willing to purchase the beacon for you, then send it to you.
The price is a bit steep, 400million ISK to be exact. Now I don't have a ton of ISK left, but even with the game dying I'd like to see some new people get to experience Dust because it is pretty cool, so I would be willing to cover 300million up front, and I would need you to send me only 100million, and promise to pay me back another 100million before the game shuts down. I'm kinda putting myself out there, losing 300million ISK would break me, but you seem legit so I'm gonna trust you.
And trust me, once you get those billions from EVE you guys will be dominating. |
