So I put A LOT of time into DUST, not terribly productive in terms of real life, and I need to put some serious effort into making better use of my time going forward... I ain't getting any younger...
A couple years back Derrith shared with GD a emergent form of dance that I took up for some cardio fitness... I've actually become pretty good at it, lost a solid 15 pounds while hardening my core, and now I am considering making a secondary vocation of it to make up for all the $$$ I sunk into DUST...
What do you think? I am going to rent a small space, advertise in the local papers and see about becoming the first trainer in my county... Thank you Derrith for introducing me to this!
Outside of more gaming, what will you do with your life once DUST is gone?
Be just and if you can't be just be arbitrary.

I'm actually in a similar situation as you, except that I've used Dust and other online co-ops to cope with "real life" stressful situations that are out of my control.
It worked out nicely that Dust is dying right when I've decided to move into my own place - without internet - so I can squeeze in some Dusting before I get my ducks in a row.
So my advice... dont think of Dust as a mechanism for your laziness... because in the end of the day it's not CCP you should hold responsible |

With the game ending around the same time as my high school graduation, I'm probably going to do what most high school graduates do and look for a job. I might try University, look into some physics or linguistics courses. Who knows?
Also, I'll be using the extra free time to watch more anime. I've been falling a little behind.

Continue living an active and productive life, plus The Division. Closed alpha, beta, and open beta have been a blast so far. As much as I love the New Eden concept and lore, you couldn't pay me enough to move to the hack/ cheatfest that is pc. It hurts my soul to move on from a game that I spent years of my life on, but I won't be looking back. When I do log on, until the end, I'll be the guy wasting loads of Officer and exp gear making poor combat decisions for the fun of it. It's been fun you guys o7 |
