Do you mean remove the ability for the player to view those stats? I ask because WPs earned in a match directly affect the amount of SP you earn in a match and I am pretty sure a lot of people would be upset if a large chunk of the SP they could earn in a match is taken away from them.
Also, removing those stats all together will not in any way provide insight into which portion of the playerbase cares about winning and which portion of the playerbase only cares about getting kills.
If CCP wanted to determine who cares about wins over kills there are several ways to do that.
One way is to look at total WPs a person earns in a match and subtract from that the amount of WPs earned directly from kills and assists. If a person gets 20 kills in a match but only earns 1000 WPs then that person clearly only focused on kills for that match, whereas if a person has 20 kills but has 3000 WPs then it would be a safe assumption that that person was more focused on doing what was necessary in a match to win and just so happened to get 20 kills while doing so.
Another thing they could look at is the number of PRIMARY objectives hacked by a person over a period of time relative to the number of matches they played not including Ambush. (viewing this stat over a 3 month period would provide more accurate data than viewing a person's performance in 1 match or even a full day worth of matches)
I'm just spitballin here so I am pretty sure with a little brainstorming session a much more accurate way of determining who likes to win over who likes to kill can be thought up.
Oh and I have one more way to determine this and that would be the simple use of anecdotal evidence gathered by simply squading up with people. I have played in squads with people who even though they have access to multiple roles will stick with the same role in a match regardless of how the match plays out.
I actually have a picture of match results from 2 days ago where I was on a team that clearly didn't give a **** about trying to win.
In this Domination match I was the first person to the objective to hack it. I then watched (started the match with GalLogi so I had scans going at the start of the match) as the entire enemy team advanced onto the objective while none of my teammates even bothered to try to make it to the objective to hold it. After the redberries took the objective I single handedly fought them off with my GalAssault and took the objective back and then held that objective by myself for a large portion of the match. After dieing to multiple heavies who ganged up on me the redberries were able to take the objective back. I then spent the rest of the match trying to regain control of the objective by myself. After the match I signed off of Dust because I was fed up with the ******** I have to deal with from a lot of the people who play this game.

Of course I don't care about KDR, because I run BPOs most of the time and tend to die a lot. :)
This is one thing I have heard a lot and I just don't understand it.
Are you people not able to accurately analyze a KDR? A KDR provides information that can be used to assess a players skill so long as you know how to read it correctly.
The only change to KDR I feel should be made is seperate KDRs should be listed depending on what role you are running and what weapon you are using.
