This post is all to do with the tournament I am currently organising, firstly I have seen everyones posts and I will respond on my breaks, secondly no announcement on a date but as I see some tournaments will start before others.
So to all you tubers of dust. I'd love for you to apply and put your name down for the tournament or even consider a commentator position, I want this tournament to be one of the highlights of duSt.
The tournament is taking time due to me organising this myself. I am currently one of the fcs of dmg so when I get on I find myself doing pc's. But I will be continuing to communicate with players.
As you all are aware dust does not offer private matchs anymore. This has made it extremely hard for me to set up. And seeing that pc is now about cp it's even harder. So i need a corp that is willing to send attacks to a dmg district and vice versa to host the tournament.
Also as stated any help and input is appreciated

Its hard to do a tournament in PC cos some of the players lag their balls of while others are not, it just makes it unfair. Also etting 32 people to not ruin it makes it super annoying, all it takes is one person, and in pc they cant be kicked :/

You could always use fw for squad sized tournaments. Lag is alot more bearble in the fw server's.

A few dmg guys have been working on fixing lag and how to prevent it. And it is 100% effective. Also if people where lagging it would be addressed at once.

New tournament, get enough people to fill both teams except 1 person on each...
Then when (or in some cases just plain IF) the game fills those 2 positions, they become "The target" and whichever dies the least wins it for their team! |
