I learned a lesson today in EVE:
Novelty accounts have greater potential to be sold now that skill injectors can be transferred onto them.

I made a character named DJ Khanid (after DJ Khaled) and completed the transfer to an EVE vet for 1.5b ISK and 2 plex (they plan to turn the character into a Titan pilot). It's not a great deal of money however, for being able to sell a character on hype alone I'm pretty happy for what it means in the creative community. Dust currently plays into this equation with people being able to squat on names for free (however that ability to squat on new names goes away after the shut down on May 30th).
Personally, I'm kicking myself now that I wasn't the player that scooped up the Bernie Sanders name. The ISK made from a good character creation with name would be able to put a person into a top tax bracket.

What I'm saying is wait to see what happens with character transfers from Dust (PS3) to whatever they are making on PC. There may be an option to merge characters onto a unified account down the line, otherwise just biomass the PS3 and scoop up the name onto an EVE character were you can sell the character through the forum bazaar.

Your dust accounts are tied to your PSN account, socdon't assume anything will transfer. I doubt Sony is motivated to help CCP out after getting a turd for their money.

What's so difficult. CCP already sends emails to the account your registered Dust with. When an invite is available to join the PC game they'll just send a code to your email address. No need to go through Sony's SSO.

Look, on one level, sure it should be easy.
But this is CCP. So beyond the vaporware argument, don't discount incompetence.
The easiest way to clean up the lore in new Eden isto kill off all the clone soldiers with a virus, or explosions of their implants etc.
No name transfers, no assets, nothing. Clean and simple.
