If you do burn all your gear by 3/8/16 so you can get Tom Clancy's The Division. If you need a new game its worth it. Planetside 2 is not bad either but battles can get massive and they never end. Warframe is better than ever.  |

I also recommend Blacklight Retribution.
It's another F2P FPS that you don't really need to spend money on if you don't mind the grind.

ps2 was ok for a bit but regional servers kill it for me.
i haven't tried warframe in a while, i should probly check that out again, its probly changed heaps.
apart from that i'm trying to avoid paying monthly subs for games (or the right to play your game with friends).

Next gen has a good mix of f2p games, the usual suspect AAA titles, great single player, mmo and multiplayer titles. I haven't regretted a single purchase...however I have been of the good mind to purchase games when and for what they're worth. Anybody who doesn't have a next gen console will be plenty happy with the amount of choice when they do upgrade.

Wut. Planetside is perfectly find for getting squads together and spawning is as easy as picking the one you want from the map...
Agree siege is starting to get some traction now

Planetside is good just avoid it like the plague when they add new features, they break it everytime, they fix it eventually but a few days/weeks after patch day is hell.
Tried blacklight but seemed overly grindy for me when I tried it it looked like you had to pay a couple hours just to afford a sight on a gun and you only got it for a few days.

Planetside 2 is as entertaining as watching paint dry. Had my PS4 over a year now and the selection of games are pretty limited and quite dull. the new NFS game wasn't bad but finished it in matter of days.
Thankfully my PC is pretty decent so i can carry on with DUST when its released and i'll mull the inbetween time with Skyrim or pokemon lol

Grinding out gear & stuff is no big deal to me since im so used to it, i don't worry about it and focus more on my gameplay. And in BLR the default AR you start with is the best weapon in the game.

I can recommend it having played the Closed Beta in January.
We only saw something like 22% of the total game area and it was quite an enjoyable experience wandering through a really well animated New York City. Sadly outside the Darkzone was pretty devoid on enemies and meaningful content and there was only one campaign mission available but the Open Beta looks to change that.

I'll be giving Division another shot this weekend. Wasn't convinced by the Closed Beta.
Destiny is always a good option if you're just moving to PS4, just be prepared to grind. I still play it near religously.
PS2 was garbage personally, and I hated Warframe even more. Divison, R6 Siege and Destiny are you're best bets for PS4 currently.
You'll only find me playing Destiny now.

Destiny in New York (the Division) seems fun. Though closed beta was heavily restricted.
But.. ps4? If someone didn't buy one already, save your money for PC or ps5.
