We would like to give advance notice that daily downtime will be extended by 15 minutes tomorrow due to an SSO deployment that will be taking place.
Downtime will begin at the usual time of 11:00 UTC, and will run for a total of 45 minutes. We expect Tranquility to be online and accepting connections again at 11:45 UTC.
Apologies for any inconvenience this extension may cause!

Hey Falcon, do you play DUST at all (Just curious as to which Devs do)? And will you be playing whatever this 2.0 is going to be?
Khanid Logi and Tanker, sometimes AV Heavy or Sniper.

SSO is a way to access multiple applications from a company by logging in only once.
For example, you will enter your login and password when you open gmail. Then, if you want to access to Google Drive or Google Agenda, you won't need to enter your IDs again. Single Sign On. ;)

Short version in English: It lets you safely log into fan websites like corp/alliance sites, killboards, various player-made services with your eve online account, in order to prove you're really the EVE character you're claiming to be. You push butan, get redirected to CCP's login system, enter your eve username and password, then get redirected back to the fan site as your character.
Another example of Sso in action: every time you log into these forums, you get redirected to Sony's login system, then they redirect you back here |

No I think it's like this (someone correct me if I am mistaken) but I think it is for corp websites and stuff.

To make it clear, the SSO update is meant for Eve Online. The extra downtime is because Dust is still connected to Tranquility where Eve Online is on.

if SSO means unifying your account information, and given that dust is still connected to tranquility, and given that all three versions of new eden ( eve, valkyrie, and the next unamed FPS) is all going to be connected from the same PC launcher.....
Can i guess that my dust character account info is going to be acessible on the new platform?
