If I were to return to dust for about a week, which is about the average time a return policy holds (if I read correctly), how many of the old school awesome pilots would temporarily return for an ADS tournament?
I'm contemplating getting a PS3 for a bit, fighting/hosting it, then returning it immediately afterwards. But if I do this stuff, I want to make sure that at least a lot of the best pilots will be there, nothing short of edge of my seat excitement will do.
I also want to take the time to point out that I promise nothing on returning, only that I'm considering it for this possible tournament should enough awesome pilots sign up. Also, if someone decides to do this without me, and I can't do it, I could possibly use weird magical ghost voodoo powers to send all my money to be the grand prize for each bracket (maybe).

I would be down. Though my support here may do more harm b then good for your cause. And moochie is just a grump old man with too many night terrors of the imky to be interested

Hehe, yeah, I'd rather avoid that...
On a side note, does anyone keep in contact with retired pilots these days? So far there are only 5 pilots who'd say they'd participate, and I'd rather not return for a six man tournament, if I'm going to return.

Heh, yeah, I'd love to see some of the old pilots return. Like Sir Snugglz, Lions Fan, Evo-7, and Pro tanker. I would have put you on the list, but you just said you'd participate, given the time and date.
And to be honest, I haven't decided that yet. I was going to aim for the weekends, between 6pm and 9pm eastern time. But again, this is on the assumption that enough people show up, and certain IRL stuff goes well. If not, and someone wants to continue this project without me, I'd be glad to lend the rest of my gold to this endeavor.

An astute and genius recommendation, with just three minor drawbacks.
1) This possible event was thought of to commemorate dust and all the headaches it caused us.
2) I be po' as hell.
3) I'm rather busy in my life atm, juggling finding a job, training for military, and studies. I asked this question just to see how many pilots would gather to it, but I ultimately wouldn't be able to attend without getting some work, which I hopefully will be starting one soon. Even still, I'm kind of sad, three of the pilots I really want to see attend don't seem to be able to show up, (lions fan, Snugglz, and then Pro Tanker). But, even if I don't make it, I'll still give some money to forward towards the grand prizes.

Make sure to have two guys with forges on top of a transport dropship shoutcasting the whole thing.

That was actually an idea. It would be like a sports channel... Also, notice the magical ghost voodoo sentence at the end. Don't misunderstand that as anything more than it is. *wink*
