A thread titled "The future of DUST" was made on every general discussions sub forum. But only the english one remained open, while you locked the rest. Why? Dont we have the right to react to the announcement?
The future of DUST thread was very moving, with all the players talking about their experiences in Dust, coming to terms with the news, and asking some questions, wich were later answered by the CPM. Why deny that from us by locking the threads?
Sadly, Im not surprised by the poor treatment from CCP, but I thougt Frame was different.

My guess is that they started in English, and had to have the rest translated.
They can't do that for every single post, and I doubt Frame and Rattati are fluent in Japanese, Chinese, French, Russian etc. Expecting them to have all those fluencies and to even have the time to respond in all those languages is a bit much.

This is like complaining that you paid for an ice cream and got it. But you're upset that they don't let you sit inside the parlour.

The problem I see with this post is that it seems to imply an assumption that those in the foreign section of the forums lack the capacity to communicate in English. Believe it or not, English is a rather popular language around the world primarily because it makes practical business sense to be able to communicate in both English and in the native tongue. Here in the Americas, Hispanics who speak primarily Spanish usually grow up understanding English as their second language for several reasons, one of which involves immigration into the US which is a touchy subject. Chinese learn English as their second language as well. CCP Games has its headquarters in Iceland where Icelandic is the native tongue but they still communicate in English.
Air traffic controllers and commercial pilots around the world often learn English because that is often demanded by businesses for being able to fly international routes where everyone from different countries have to be able to understand each other to avoid mid-air collisions.
The translation of the announcement to different languages is of course important, but it just makes practical sense to have those people in foreign sections talk in here in the English section if they want to give feedback. If they can't speak English at all, that is OK. There are always personal translators to help around. Although I would advise them to avoid using Google Translate at all cost.

I'm pretty impressed by the fact they actually translated the announcement.
