I am enjoying it. I never used proto because I worried about new players, now I feel all is fair and good. I made 750K ISK in a pub last night, turned out I was 3 on the leaderboard, first must have been over a million.

I hit the mill mark a couple of times. The amount of big hitting suits are amazing right now. I love that cause there's no excuse for not running the best you got cause it's the end of times. So many GKO and CKO out there right now. If you want fast sp or isk use your logi for a match and watch the isk and sp you get lol. |

Its going to be balls to the wall till the end! The way it should be, I have no regrets hammering out the Louis mods! Also gunning in corp mates drop ships, and riding with the best lav man in the game.

What you're experiencing is a community driven leveling of the playing field. If everyone is all-powerful then no one is - people are relying on skills alone and are being rewarded for good positioning etc. instead of being punished for bringing the wrong tier gear.
Something is killing new player retention.

There are still a lot of players that run around in starter/militia gear
getting farmed by proto/officer fucks is surely not funny for them
Even I feel bad when I kill them in my ADV gear
this is one of the many reasons that this game never got a larger playerbase
On one point we agree, its really fun when you kill someone even though he has a big advantage
