Guys and gals, it's been an honor. As many problems as this game has had, it will forever hold a place near the top of my all time favorite games. I've been trying to think of something to do as a send off, as have everyone else. I love the ideas, from the Quafe Fest to the 21 gun salute blasting us all and immortalizing us and our favorite fits in EVE Kill Mail. But given some time, I have realized the one thing I truly want which I never got.
This may be a long shot so I'm not getting my hopes up, but I want a true Faction Warfare match between the Amarr Empire and Minmatar Republic. Everyone wears the proper racial dropsuits (Only Amarr and Minmatar, sorry Gallente and Caldari). No vehicles since we never got those. And there will be unbalance since I'd prefer Amarr Sentinels not use the HMG. To top it all off, try to get as many EVE players in disposable fits to duke it out overhead for us.
It'll be some weekend in May if we can make this happen, maybe earlier depending on True Adamance's schedule. Even if you're not an RPer or don't like either faction, I'd appreciate if you help make this a reality. I'd gladly help return the favor for other's dying wishes.

No limitation on equipment. I never said this.
Yes limitation on weapons. Unlike equipment, all weapons serve the same overall purpose: kill. There will be unbalance, but this is more for fun than anything else.

Perhaps later we could try for class specific matches, no other restrictions than that.
Hell, imagine if we got a Commando team vs Assault team.

Hey Aero, I'm on the roster as Crease Release but I was wondering if I could get that switched to my other alt "Got That Dodi".
After a bit of digging around on my alts I came to find that Crease Release has the SP I need, but no ISK and absolutely no SP spent.
Got That Dodi has a Gallante toon, but has everything I need for the event- Min suit, CR, FP, skills, so on.

It was. That turned out to be 11pm Friday April 1st for me. I don't think Aero took into account the daylight savings time change in his initial post though.

It's a shame but we sent Aero off with a derp filled Dust 514 match that basically rehashed everything that happened in the last few years.
- Get a kill with the Scrambler Rifle, Scrambler Pistol, and Laser Rifle
- Suicide Officer suit into the redline to score a kill against a Forge Sniper
- Suicide a fully crewed HAV with all passengers wearing full officer gear into a line of tanks
- Steal one of True's kills at the last second
- Win the match
- Complain about how easy it was
- Other derp filled things
