I m disappointed there ll not a port to ps4 but I cannot leave my pythons . So maybe I ll buy a computer but I really know nothing about this engine, So what kind of PC should I buy to continue dust in the future? |

or better yet, buy a computer that will play other games on PC you might want to try, if you want to play the new hotness, save for a screamer. If you're good without the bleeding edge games? something more modest. but wait till the tech specs come out before nabbing a modest one just in case.

You can probably count on something like
Intel-« CoreGäó i7-6700 (8MB Cache, up to 4.0GHz with Turbo Boost Technology
Windows 10 Home 64bit
NVIDIA-« GeForce-« GTX 970 with 4GB GDDR5: VR-Ready
8GB Dual Channel DDR4 at 2133MHz
1TB (64MB Cache) 7200 RPM SATA 6Gb/s
If the game is as good as they say it's going to be and you can count on that ! |

Thanks bro. I ll buy a PC for future dust only and maybe I ll try to find some game of helicopter simulation or something with nice sensation of flying. PC games is something I really don t know. |

best helicopter simulation was Battlefield 2 for me.
I practiced and became one of the few people who could do pickups and drops with a blackhawk multiple times without ditching or crashing.
I dunno if the newer battlefields live up to that. Haven't played them.
But there's a lot of stuff that I've found fun. Go poke, do research and see what you can find.

If you're building one, I may suggest to take an Asus Strix GTX 970oc: it comes already overclocked and has one of the best quality/price ratio imo.
It runs well if you just need the PC to run games, so that you can go cheap on CPU/Motherboard/RAM.
To be pretty safe, you'll just need an intel i5 and 16 GB of ram-

If you want to be safe, since I can run anything at ultra and 60 fps,I can leave my build here ( keep in mind, I have this build for processing power needs like 3d graphics, game engine in production mode, music production: you can save on almost anything, first off the motherboard):
Motherboard: Asus p9x79-WS CPU: Intel i7 4930K just if you want to overclock
since I wanted to, I also had to get a liquid cooling system for the CPU and bought a Corsair H60.
Remember to check the Motherboard's Max RAM: since the p9x79 could have up to 64 GB of RAM I decided to buy 2x Vengeance 16 GB kits (you can save more or less 60 Euros by buying only one if you just need for games)
The GPU: as I mentioned before, I found myself exceptionally good with an Asus Strix GTX970oc
An SSD for the OS and the main applications
A couple cheap Hard drives for storage
All the other things are optional: you should check if your case has enough space for the motherboard and should always check how much ventilated it is: the more, the better.

My rig is
i5-4690 3.5ghz (quad core) - -ú120 16gb ddr3 1600mhx ram - -ú100 gigabyte radeon gtx970 4gb GDDR5 - -ú250
i use it for 3D scanning and it plays games pretty well too. motherboard was about -ú50, so was the PCU.
hoping it should run DUST 2.0 and i have my PS4, XB360 or XB1 controller ready for it too.
i just hope the toys CCP give us as a reward are gonna be nice. especially those of us with the Second Decade VIP thingy too
Please fix my C-II hitpoints!! Jesus and I love you :)

With the technology available today, $3000 would get you a pc that is really really really really good, it would be good for a very long time, and you'd probably have no regrets. |

Just wait for specs. If the game will be released on steam and you need a PC just to play games you can always buy a steam machine, basically in upgradable console.

We dont know the specs of the game, but a nice PC that I would build today from scratch is this:
Intel Core i5-6500, 3.2GHz LGA 1151 - Around $200 depending on sales/offers from where you get it. GeForce GTX 960 GPU, there's either 2GB or 4GB versions, either is fine, not much difference in price, between $180 and $220 ish depending on where you get it and promotional offers Sandisk SSD 240GB - About $66 Western Digital Blue 1TB Hard drive - About $54 16GB of DDR4 SDRAM - About $90, could vary based on deals, depending on motherboard you could either do 2x8 GB or 4x4GB
The motherboard and power supply would depend on how big of a PC case you want to get, after years of moving from apartment to apartment I'm tired of the standard large PC cases so I switched to the m-ITX format and love it for the portability.
So looking at about $610 before you buy the case, power supply, and motherboard, looking at maybe another $150 to get the rest. This PC would be great for all current games, and future proof for atleast 5 years, in my opinion. If the next generation of GPUs turn out to be much much better, you could keep everything else and buy a new GPU later on, everything else in this PC will be very good for atleast 10 years unless a part breaks. I dont see CPUs getting any major 'performance' boosts, usually just power and size effeciency gains in the following years to come.
Install the operating system and your main programs/games onto the SSD for super fast loading times, then the 1TB hard drive is good for secondary games and programs and other media you want to keep that you dont really care whether they load/write fast or not. |

What? Lower end CPU and mid range GPU at the same price will destroy any APU

If you're going to buy the rig for Dust, I'd wait until its actually a thing.
I'd say there is an 80% chance it will be stuck in development hell and cancelled.
... which is actually kind of a 100% guarantee in hindsight, seeing as how the game has been in perpetual development hell forever and has now been cancelled twice.
This is a positive and endearing message brought to you by Himi.
