That better not be aur based.
Loyalty =/= Money spent
There's alot of us that stayed and played this janky ass game because we enjoyed it. There was a dumb amount of games released that were supposed to be "Dust Killers" but we kept playing your malfunctioning ass game because we liked it better. There were some terrible balancing issues in this ***** rigged ass game but we kept on playing because we liked it. Fuckin 1.7 tanks and we kept logging in because we liked this stupid ass game. FF14 AND this server shutdown announcement happened while good games are being released on a newer system we own and we still play this game.
Bruh, your loyalty meter better not be aur based.

I actually agree with you on that one.
I would hope that such recognition was based on playtime in some manner rather than the Loyalty Rank which was primarily influenced by AURUM.

A comprehensive plan to bring player things forward would be nice.
It'll probably just be skins though, so don't expect too much.

I figure maybe they'll transfer BPOs or refund their equivalent value in the new game.
I doubt they'll tranfer any amount of SP or ISK. I'm in favor of wiping the slate so we don't have billionaires and brokes like we have now.

A billionaire in DUST is equivalent to a trillionaire in EVE. My guess is that Legion.2 will involve ISK transfers from EVE accounts along with a whole lot of other integrations they could never pull off in DUST. So the entire economic system of DUST would be a moot point post release anyway. But there are tycoons and beggars in EVE just like in DUST, just like in any economic system, so that won't change in the New World. |

Hmmm... I feel like lore-wise, a ground force unit doesn't require as much funding as massive intergalactic spaceships. It's always made sense that the the exchange rate is different.
I'm curious as to how much they're gonna glue it to Eve. Stuff like Eve pilots owning Dust assets and vice versa, battlefield surveillance from space (on top of orbital support), etc..
If there's direct ISK/asset transfer, ISK would need to hold the same proportionate buying power as in Eve. If New Dust's ISK is weaker, then we'd have the problem of people sending over a trillion ISK and breaking the economy once again.
I'm sure they'll figure it out I guess. I'll see if I can be there for the next broken rollercoaster.
