My only advice is to keep your expectations low. Really low. Even if 1.3 lands, it's likely to just be stat shuffles, maybe a couple new menu's, some skyboxes and some NPE "fixes"
There's a very strong chance the patch will be very minor.

Hey man if that's what you consider a substantive update, more power to you. You are in for a life of being pleased, certainly worthy of envy.
Also by skyboxes I mean the actual skyboxes that CCP adds (the "moods" and planets in the background, you know..the sky). Not actually fixing the wasted space in maps. That won't happen because it requires coding.

There's a very strong chance the patch will be very minor. The reason I still enjoy this game after playing for so long is that I have zero expectations. If nothing happens, that's that I expected so I'm ok. If we get a new patch, I'm pleasantly surprised. Best way to handle this game if you don't want to get angry (at least for me).
Believe me I know haha. I've burned through far more anger here than is healthy, a good life lesson for certain :D I feel it's fair for me to be overly critical of CCP only because I'm the same person who convinces droves of people to play games like this when I enjoy them. Two sides of my coin I suppose.
It all stems from the fact the I LOVE what this game COULD have been, what it SHOULD be.
And THAT, is what makes me bitter.
