Give them back their splash damage.
Decrease the breachs charge up time.
It really doesn't make sense that an assault would have splash damage where the standard doesn't. The assault shoots faster giving more opportunities for direct shots

They're fine the way they are. I use them. They take experience to use which is perfect. Unlike the completely Idiotic Point and Shoot, Easy mode, Swarms.

Either shorten the BFG's charge or remove the immobilisation while charging. Preferably the latter.
Buff the vanilla FG so that it has higher alpha than the AFG. As it is, the AFG renders the vanilla completely obsolete. Only reasons to take the vanilla are ISK (not really a big issue) and being able to hold a shot.

Anyways... I don't use forge guns anymore (except militia to take out officer suits far away! Or snipers)
IMHO all forge guns need a small damage buff. Why? They are a joke. Atleast on a sentinel. Sentinels are said "to be able to stand face to face against tanks" - dust 514 page.
Base forge gun needs more damage and 6 shots.
Assault needs less damage and 8 shots, but faster ROF
Breach needs 4 shots and less rof and November ability
Assault- 8 - 2s Base- 6 - 3s Breach- 4 - 4s
That's tounds an charge times. Damage should be regulated based off tiers

Oh true. Completely forgot about that.
Then yes. No buff amag wise but do fix times and ammo. And limit vehicles to only 1 hardener. And reduce vehicle price. That will bring balance to the game.
Tabks are very good killing machines and are quite easy to destroy with 1 hardener.
Just reduce vehicle prices after to balance out vehicle to suit isk ratios.
Seriously 600k for 1 hull is too much imo.
That should be 200. 150 for adv and 100 for std.

The forge gun had its splash nerfed for a reason. The standard and IAFG could maaaybe use a tiny RoF OR damage buff, but that's a maybe at best.

I'd like to see the vanilla shot damage at least brought up to be competitive with the breach and AFG
Right now its like...
The AFG is for when you want to scare away/destroy vehicles with good dps
The BFG is for when you want to destroy vehicles with surprise alpha damage when their hardeners are down, or get the killing blow on a vehicle being hit with other AV
The vanilla FG is for when you want to snipe infantry and annoy militia vehicles
If the vanilla FG did 1650ish per hit at pro, it would have 412.5 base dps (if you fired the instant you were able to right on time every time, which you won't), compared to its current dps of 360, versus the AFG's 461 and BFG's 381 |

Current splash is fine IMO. Why would you need splash on a hold variant?
I would like to see the old damage numbers and/or rate of fire returned though.
