Some good changes have been made to this game judging by the patch notes ive looked at and videos i've recently watched. I haven't played in at least a year and a half. The thing is..... I don't have a ps3 anymore so I cant play. I truly am interested in playing. But I don't think its worth spending 200 dollars for the sake of one game. I do have a PS4 though.......
So I was wondering...... How many people do you guys think would come back to dust if the game was ported to PS4, upgraded graphics and performance (thanks to the better hardware) slightly increased player count (because of how empty the maps can/used to feel for me. I know that I would re-download the client and immediately buy some SP boosters.
I realize another port thread has already been made but I wanted to make a thread from the perspective of someone who hasn't played in a long time that even now is still interested in the game. Even though i've had almost nothing to do with it in two years I still want it to succeed and I still want to play it. There is so much potential for this game. The only thing that seems lacking is the motivation of CCP to fully commit to it. But I'm positive if they could just muster up the courage to put this on the PS4, sign some deals with SONY and ramp up advertisements again, this game could truly be great. Idk.... what do you guys think?
Im telling you CCP....... I WANT you to take my money! Just give me the means to do it!

So your saying you came back on a whim? Just out of nowhere decided to come back? You haven't been playing on a different character this whole time? Cool, I'll take your word for it.
Yeah man go ahead and drop that cash on a ps3. This game is great right now and things look promising.

A lot would come back for a port..and a lot of new people as well..but they have a bunch of issues to address if they want to retain players
I would NOT buy a system just for this game, it's improved but still has far to many issues |

Pretty much. I started playing eve again because other games just simply dont feel as meaningful. I like the idea of a game that doesn't "go away". A game that stays relevant and i can feel good about sinking time into because i know that time wont ultimately be wasted when the next call of duty 10 comes out. So yeah, i pretty much came back on a whim. Like i said though, im hesitant to spend 200 on a ps3 for the sake of a single game. Preferably id much rather have them port it then drop 200 on the game itself :D
