A small issue, but one I've noticed for a while: When browsing through the suits the description mentions that they cannot be modified. However, this obviously isn't the case. I'm well aware other issues in Dust take priority in Dust right now rather than this (like being stuck at the end of a match without the victory/defeat screen displaying), but I just thought I'd mention this issue here.

And that they are not prototype at all. Just a little better than basic loaded with basic stuff. |

Then they got buffed to let people modify them. Then they got nerfed, nargled and generally neutralised to satisfy whatever trolls didn't like the idea that you could actually modify an already proto-level suit. It seems to me the problem was they were BPOs and people didn't like the idea that BPOs could be so powerful. Well, they're not. They may be BPOs, but unmodified, they're not that great. I count my Rasetsu a little above a Frontline-CA because of better shield recharge and the State Rail Rifle with two basic damage mods. But the Frontline-CA carries a drop uplink and the Militia Assault Rail Rifle which is by far superior to the State Rail Rifle in CQC. And it's the same sort of story with the other APEX level suits. Mine are all LP suits, of which I'm proud, but they're no better than basic fits really, which to me seems incongruous since I ground FW so hard to get them all.
And the Marine Issue skins. They make it all worthwhile because they make the suits so much better.... ;) |

That explains why they have a prototype icon for them then, although still having it is rather misleading. I had a friend aim at my character in a match while I was using a APEX/Loyalty suit and he said the text in the lower right says "PRO" for it as well.
