I haven't opened it in a good while. But I checked it today, and not a single squad with full latency. Lots of them with five bars. But none with six.
Is this just me?

A lot of the time I open it, it's slap full of 3 bars or less squads and it's not uncommon for me to see squads with no bars. Hell, there's been quite a few times when every squad on the list had zero bars.
And of course most of the time it's seemingly foreign squads. Don't have a clue with what's going on with the white boxes that'll show up under the bars (not in the squad names).
Most of what I see around here is just a bag of dicks in need of some kicks.

I always seem to have full bars when I make a squad but I am using fairly good internet and being in the UK no doubt I am close to the servers.
Does it only show that way to the squad leader or would this be universal? (I.E does the squad leader always see his own latency as full bars?) |

Foreign characters I presume, ones that your client cannot handle. Usually the Japanese when you see that but of course not limited to. |

I have issues with game today as well.
I was CCPed from FW and later i was not able to go even in to pub.
After some while i managed one pub, but later another waiting.
I left after two scotties.

where do i buy these mythical "bars" from?
i forget how many bars there are, but i rarley get over 3/5? bars playing with ppl in the same room/town as me.
all foreign squadfinder adverts display 0-1 bars if im lucky

The bars are basically a representation of the latency between you and the squad leader. So yes, squad lead will always see full bars with their squad. Source, scroll to region quality.
On a side note, squad finder is a good indicator for how laggy matches will be. I just wish they'd list peoples latency in actual milliseconds.
