I've been awaiting news all day because of that "All will be explained on Monday" rumor. Ya got me, whoever did that. Thanks for the anticipation. I guess it's back to the abyss of not knowing squat.
On this theme of CCP playing psychological games, there was a study showing that when people are left in suspense about decisions, their reported happiness is significantly reduced when compared with people who feel like circumstances will not change and therefore accept their lot in life.
How many of you would continue playing if you knew that nothing about this game would change in the future? |

That image was simply a meme of something Rattati said like...last year.
There was something that he was going to announce, I forget exactly what it was, but he made the mistake of saying "All will be explained on monday". However something came up and he was unable to announce on Monday and people lost their collective **** for the next week until he finally announced whatever it was. Rattati then vowed to never promise anything by a specific date every again because it came around to bite him in the ass.
That meme was created simple to remind people that even if something is promised by a certain date, it may still not happen. Obviously people have a short memory and don't remember the source of it all.

they put up a new website last monday, it's supposed to have a list of future updates they are planning for all 3 major titles.

The sad truth of it though is just that we're the sad people with no lives who have been here long enough to know irrelevant crap like that to the point that we think it's common knowledge, when really it's only the salt in the wound that helps us remember such irrelevant crap in the first place. |
