For the past couple of days I have ran into this problem where the estimated time for Factional contracts is 00:00.
During the search for battle the timer will run until you receive an error that there was an issue with Scotty. If I'm in a squad during this time, I am left behind in the battle finder window. Any attempt to start the battle finder gives me a notice that I am not the leader of my squad and cannot start a match. I have tried using different servers, but it doesn't fix the problem. It could be that there are no faction contracts during this time, but I find it hard to believe that I am the only one in the US trying to find a match let alone Europe and Asia. I did notice today that after 21:00 UTC the estimated time is now working, but I have only had the chance to play one battle since then. Scotty continues to fail me if I leave him searching for a contract for too long. I was also signed out of psn after searching for my second factional contract, coincidence? Not sure, but if anyone has run into this particular issue or has any ideas on how to fix it then pleases let me know. Thanks!

FW is dependant on players to start.
there is no server selection in FW.
after Downtime it can take a while to get started again.
ppl see 00:00 and dont bother , this makes less ppl queing, which makes it take longer/forever.
chicken or the egg?

The real reason is that they're all just stomping in pubs. The same thing happens to the timer in pubs, but there's never a problem because everyone just queues for pubs these days instead of FW.
I wish to hell they would get out of pubs. It's ruining the new and solo players experience, when all that stomping should just be happening in FW instead. They'd rather slaughter noobs and solos than have decent honest battles against equals.

I guess this is related then. pub searches are taking 10 minutes+ and I've been in a lot of games in the last 24 hours where it's extremely lopsided. I guess it'll fix itself, sooner would be nice. |
