I've noticed that PC battles start out fine then the moment the enemy has an advantage the lag starts. It could be coincidence but, it has happened like this many a times. |

It would be more logical to imply cheating with a lag switch if you were winning and the lag starts for your team. If your team is losing there is no reason for the OPFOR to use the lag switch.

With this evidence along with the claims of PoK doing the glitch repeatedly, I believe issuing a ban X month time ban to the entirety of PoK, and whomever Gran is.
Since the offense has been commited several times it is reasonable that PoK leadership / field commanders bring him in specifically to crash the game and defend the district.

Must be related to the fact that upon each respawn, there is a chance of framerate lag increase.

I understand this is New Eden. A place where unsavory behavior is welcomed.
But stuff like this is wrong on many levels. The LAV glitch is by far the worst.
Archduke, please, take this as high as you can. See if there's a way to track users of this tactic through data or something. Should this become commonplace, the results will be catastrophic.
Thoughts from our CPM? Maybe you guys can accomplish more? Frame? Falcon? Anyone with a badge really... Come be our concord and save the day.

Thanks for posting the video.
First time I experienced the opposing team cheating like that I submitted a ticket. Three people on the opposing team were ghost riding Lavs around and couldn't be killed. They were shooting from the turrets and slowly running people over.
Sadly my phone's video was poor so I didn't have proof except for the time the match happened. Hopefully the ban hammer comes down. |

P.C has been pretty much broken since forever ago . if you think that LAV is bad , try Nyain San's p.c un-killable tanks , underneath the rings objective with 5 gunner's glitched in it . these things happen more often then people notice . here's a quick one : scout runs through wall and drops a r.e and kills everyone .

I do still have the match in it's entirety but I've already reviewed it extensively, I was on the ground when they were glitching the LAV and there isn't any footage of them actually doing it anywhere. The match from my perspective is normal until I'm called to the city and see the LAV.
Believe me, if there were anything else to add in there I would have, I used that video in reporting them to a GM.

DogeGoge, I Already watched that video twice today, I did not find anything on there that helped so I did not post a link.
There is the part with the lav and the RE that got me thinking. Tried a few variations, no luck.
Rewatched the PC vid that contains the glitch. Then went to FW to try the RE glitch on an LAV. It blew my LAV up. I rewatched the PC video again, that LAV had base HP.
This lead me to believe that the RE glitch wouldn't work in this case.
Went back to pubs to try again with a buddy and had some minor luck.
Got the LAV to disappear - it was like it was blinking in and out of the match - and also managed to get the LAV to teleport us to various locations, most often nearby but occasionally straight up into the air
Also i would love to hear your thoughts on how it is done or maybe hear about the work you put into figuring it out, I am a little stumped at this point and very tired so I am not on dust.
If you would like to squad up and help me with this I made a channel for people who wish to help with this kind of material...

In some cases they didn't and in some cases it did . i know several of them before they were POK and were known as extreme stars etc . some p.c matches we would slaughter them without any issue and some p.c matches ill just vomit on myself from the lag ( they know this ) . glitching and explloiting game mechanics is in fact ALOWED in this game and while its not officially sanctioned by CCP nobody in the game has ever had their account banned for it (hell the only bannable offence is RMT)
you can go so far as to enter an official CCP tournament and glitch the entire time and CCP wont do anything (aka arriana)

The melee glitch is like having a sword in a knife fight.
LAV glitch is more like a nuke.
Most agree that nukes are bad for the world. Potential to destroy it.
Swords in a knifefight is just unfair and unsportsmanlike.-á

I remember seeing one of uncle pyrex dust videos about lavs. He stuck a remote to a post a drove by it then he could free roam the whole map...redlines and all. Maybe this is the way..

It's funny we're now all jumping on the "ban" wagon, and yes Gran Oswaldo has been doing things like this for sometime and deserves to be banned, but what about limbo glitch abusers? The pass was handed out, CCP pretty much ignored(Did not respond to any post) it, and some of you even defended it?!? Bias much?
While this bs is 10 times worse completely ending the match, how many times have you fought ABFTW and this same bs happened right at the end of the match, same map? Didn't see no LAV, but it happened exactly the same way! Just in the nick of time for the district save.
I agree with the embargo suggestion on the players end. Don't trade, sell, or buy a single weapon or suit from/to them! They've been doing things like this for quite some time, but maybe now that it's THIS blatantly caught on tape CCP might be incline to do something, anything?!!!!
CCP, it's now gotten this ridiculous because the cheating players watch you do nothing for too long to known cheaters! You ban Gran, you gotta ban alot of others in all fairness! However, if you continue to do nothing this will clearly get worse!!

This glitch is potentially harmful to the game itself. Every time they crash the server there is, if my understanding of the field is good enough, a potential to do harm to the server itself.
I could be wrong.
But if I am right, I think that actual damage to the servers is a hell of a lot worse than some tears and a little butt hurt.
Yes it sucks they get away with using the smaller exploits and they should be fixed, but I'd rather see people whom actually harm the game be dealt with first and foremost.

No an exploit is an exploit. It gives the user an advantage not intended or balanced for by the game designers. A little cheat is still a cheat. Just ban them all and watch how fast others stop using the exploit. |

If the fix isn't already in the works, then I would suspect one of 3 things:
1. No man hours to re-code the problem
2. Problem inherent in the engine/assets and can't be easily fixed (see #1)
3. It isn't common enough to alienate such a LARGE portion of the active players ($ wins)

You know, they wade through a shitload of tickets. Give it time. Although given the forum attention this has received I wouldn't be surprised if it was expedited. CCP doesn't interfere in affairs but they fix bugs and I'll bet this thread wound up in someone's inbox.
