Ripley Riley wrote:Also keep in mind that CCP Shanghai has to deal with language barriers. Some devs may not speak/write English for all we know. In theory, that's why we have community managers...
Unfortunately CCP Frame doesn't really post anything anymore, but in most MMOs the community managers keep the players up to date on the dev happenings.
I'm Irish, I barely speak English to any standard..
Yet I run a Corp with members from Italy, Germany, France, Croatia, Czech Rep, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Holland, England (really can't understand a word these guys say) Scotland, Wales
And more, near 50% have broken English at best, including me
Is it that hard for CCP to communicate with an International community from a Chinese DEV team
No excuse, if thats were you choose to place your team, think about how you will communicate.
Yet another issue CCP have ignored |

This isn't an issue unique to CCP. As I said though, community managers usually solve this by acting as a go-between. EEEEEPPP !!!!
My first Gold Star from a player who talks more than they ever played !!! Thank you for adding to the nonsense CCP wade through for years rather than actual feedback from players!!
This will go on the wall next to my dead cat.
