I officially died off the game totally a day or so ago when I rearranged my entertainment center.
I am blocking the forums on my router for the time being because honestly as someone that plays the game zero I have nothing but negativity.
To CCP
I really hate you. You proved exactly how to not deal with customers.
To Rattati:
You kept me around here personally more than once and got me to spend more than a few dollars on top of my 1k I spent before this game went in the bowl. Apply for another job and put your talents to use.
To Frame:
You have one hell of a job considering the situation around here. It may be hard but speak up more and kill off some of the rumor mongering which is the life blood of this game.
To Archduke:
I would not ever get paid enough to deal with the crying you likely deal with on a daily basis. Good on you sir. You really are a man among men.
To Hilmar:
You sir are a failure among failures and I regret ever spending a dime under your tutelage. Take your drug induced visions and stick them where the sun does not shine. Literally all you had to do was not be you for some bits of success.
None of the above will ever read this post.
My fellow mercs loved and very few hated:
It has been one heck of a trip. I have done many things noticed and not noticed all around, I have spent millions funding new players, I have spent hundreds of millions funding certain faction battles and I do not regret a single bit of any of it.

I have my same name in several other games and if you feel like looking me up on PSN you can find me on PS4 where I am more than happy to game share or party and have some good times.

Thanks. While most that are part or my mediocre legacy here are gone its nice to see a bit of recognition.
It brings tears to my eyes to go. I do not care about the money spent.
I will miss the unique comradery that came from this game formed by dealing with all the ups and downs that was Dust.

Good on you for taking the stand and making your actions speak louder than your words! I feel much the same as you do, although I've only been here about 6 months.
CCP seems to not understand a crucial fact about customers - it's a lot easier to keep a customer happy than to get a customer back after they've left. CCP seems to be chasing new and glitzy, instead of trying to improve the experience of the existing player base.
CCP also seems to not understand something else very important - people talk. When players of Dust are asked about their experience of CCP, they will probably unerringly say it was really bad. Most of them probably won't have thought to try EvE, probably thinking if CCP could make such a mess of Dust, why wouldn't they make a mess of EvE as well.
I'm still working through my own experience of Dust, trying to glean every little last bit of interest from it, before I myself break the addiction I've developed. Yes, it's addictive, and that's another good reason to get rid of it. Thankfully, it's an addiction to a very unfortunate drug which I will be pleased to be rid of once my last fix wears off... |

I just sent you both 50 mil ISK. I hope you will use it to do what I always did and help the Amarr as well as newbies but it is yours to do with what you want.
Had to get my PS3 out of the closet and hook it up on the floor to send that so I hope you enjoy either way.

Wanted to play one last battle after sending them money and got infinite "waiting for deployment" A fitting end I suppose.
The PS3 will be going into the closet with the SSD soon to come out and go into another comp I am building right now as a local dev derver.
Router block on the forums goes up very shortly.
EDIT finally got a 7 vs 3 match after about 6 minutes of waiting for deployment.
