It would be nice if our feedback resulted in promp thorough changes too, but we can't help if we we're red headed step children.
If any of my posts seem severely negative, it's probably because they are.

I can hear the pay to win complaints now. A lot of unused alts just sitting there to extract sp from. Another reason not to actually play the game.

And vehemently shot down. Again.
And again.
And again.
And again.
And the it popped up over here. And died out.
Then it wasn't so quick to die off on the eve boards.
Weeeeeiiiiiirrrrrddddddddd.
It's almost like it could ease new player retention and fit perfectly well in the free market.

Doesn't eve have more Alts than active players? I imagine the OCD players who made tons of characters to milk passive SP must be really damn happy.

Only if you can afford the PLEX, or actually pay for your alt accounts.

TONS of alts got killed off by the banning of ISBoxer. The character trading section was flooded beyond belief with some amazing PVP toons. Even more went into biomass or got unsubbed to no longer be trained.
Eve does not have people farming passive SP like here because it costs real money (or a crap load of ISK) and SP can only be trained into skills meaning that if you don't set your skill queue nothing happens.

I'm sure it'll go over fine, the die hards there will never leave and it definitely helps new players. Just seems easy to game given the passive SP and proliferation of accounts common to EVE.
bullshit
If it were even remotely possible to make enough for a PLEX by salvaging level 4 missions "for an hour" I'd have enough to sub my accounts for a lifetime |

bullshit If it were even remotely possible to make enough for a PLEX by salvaging level 4 missions "for an hour" I'd have enough to sub my accounts for a lifetime I mean they were only 500k at the time but yea, it took about an hour. I just trailed along in my Destroyer and salvaged, put the stuff up in trade hubs and was just under 500k the next day. Perhaps prices have changed since then but it was pretty easy. That was about 2 years ago now. Maybe I just got lucky with prices at the time but people in my corp were buying a few PLEX a day for themselves, granted they were actually balls deep into the game but still. Seems like you hit a point where it's impossible to NOT fund your game with PLEX.

Last time i actively looked at PLEX 9 months ago, they were goobering between 800 and 900 million.
Passive SP gain and useless alts no longer are a EVE thing because **** spending money IRL.
You are right through, thats how i started actual salvaging for profit, cleaning up L4 sites.

Fair enough, I can't comment on the current state of the game both because I don't play and because I hardly played before. Guess things have changed a bit over there since then.
Glad it's doing well.
