I want to know what classic games you guys play / are looking for? Especially if you have a PS1, 2, P or GameCube.
Atm, I'm wondering if it's worth it to buy Wip3out SE from England...
Next thing is i don't know if it'll play on my NTSC ps2 or 3..
Anyways, other than Dust... What classics do you guys play?

Lol the only FF i played was the first one.
And since I've chose a stupid party (1 warrior 3 mages) and couldn't do that again in FF2, I've avoided FF since.
How is 7 after all? Is it good??

How is 7 after all? Is it good?? I can't give you an objective opinion cuz it's clouded in nostalgia haha. I have it and play it from time to time but I have a real hard time playing old games, it's mostly just for my collection at this point.
When I was a kid it was the best damn thing I'd ever played though, aside from Suikoden and Legend of Legaia, those games are awsome. And Xenogears. And Saga Frontier 2. **** why can't RPGs be good like they used to be?
I think FF7 is worth playing through again if you enjoy old style games, but if not then definitely keep your eyes open for when the remake comes out. Should be worth a try if nothing else.

I remember playing Goldeneye for N64 until I would just fall over and go to sleep, good times. Some guy just did his Master Thesus where he redesigned a level from that game using Unreal Engine 4, looked awesome.

Xenogears was awesome in my opinion. The story was really good and twisted, the characters were memorable and it was just all around a cool game. Plus, your party accidentally eats people at one point and I mean, you can't beat that.

You could have given OP your top 3 old games and still used less words in your post than you did. Anyway OP, if you've never played the earlier Tony Hawk games, those can be entertaing also.

The problem is finding games that have aged well.
I know Chrono Trigger is on sale currently on PSN, probably only playable on PS3, but that shouldn't matter too much. Parappa the Rappa has a great reputation, and any Persona game.
I seem to recall the Zelda that was on GC was on of the best but couldn't tell you whether or not it was Majoras Mask or Ocarina of Time.

Over time you adore the characters (which few games achieve) and usually find your own personal favourite which you can customise as you see fit to fight in various styles. Lots of hidden content and story missions with the toughest boss I've ever come across in a really cool side mission not to mention the various skits and party interactions which break up gameplay with interesting lore and funny moments. Game I miss the most: Super Mario Sunshine Why: It's a gorgeous little plat former in typical Nintendo fashion featuring Mario accused of graffiting while on vacation and tasked with using a strange machine called FLUDD to clear up the various worlds. Jumping around in this game was so much fun combined with finding the Blue and Red Coins if you feel like a completionist. Game I was most surprised by: Paper Mario: Legend of the Thousand Year Door Why: It's a turn based Mario RPG that kicks ass.
See, i got starfox Adventures the other day... But i'm really hoping to find command... Which I might not find on kijiji :(
Tales of Symphonia.... I'll do a little research into it. An RPG for my GC would be nice. If a hard copy is expensive I'll buy off the PSStore... If i have enough memory for it.
Mario Sunshine is impossible to find for cheap near me HOLY! I'd get it though.
I have Luigi's mansion too. I actually like that Luigi has his own game... Sadly it's all about finding mario so
Kirby's Air Ride is my go to game on my GC. It's a game that's great to play with people. It's kinda like 3 games in one, which i really enjoy! Although they really aren't that different... Meh

My favorite few games to play are
Armored Core (Missing the first 4 games, Formula Front, 4, and 5)
Wip'Eout (I'm missing 2097/XL and 2048, i don't know if I should buy a PS Vita just yet for 2048... Damn cards be $$$$ for no reason.)
But it's like I'm collecting the obscure games.. No one near me has them, and no one really knows what games they are... :(

True's elaboration of Tales reminds me of Star Ocean: Second Story which I believe is on the PS Uno, and there is a good Breath of Fire game 3 or 4.

Games from that era used to have incredibly detailed content which is just lacking in modern games. I can certainly understand the modern premise of creating and shaping your character through your actions but sometimes I want a developer to take the time and tell me a story.
For anyone interested Tales of Symphonia is produced by the Namco Tales Studio and made the jump to PS3 earlier this year.
Tales of Symphonia tells the story of the Journey of Regeneration where the young Chosen of Mana is set upon the path for which she was born, to bring Mana back to Sylvarant and defeat the chaotic forces of the world known as the Desians.
Her task is reach the seals of the Summoned Spirits of the world and pray to the guiding force of the world for peace and prosperity while facing trials, hardships, Sylvarant's growing poverty and resource depletion, as well as discrimination as mana seeps out of the world. Fortunately she is accompanied by her two closest friends Lloyd Irving and Genis Sage, paired as the idealistic twin swordsman and genius elven mage and best of friends, as well as their teacher and healer Raine Sage, and the taciturn mercenary and magic swordsman Kratos Aurion.
I literally can't think of a game that has told a better and more surprisingly epic story with half the plot twists this one has. It also has some pretty heavy messages without sounding too preachy.

The thing modern games are missing is... Complexity.
Games from back then have one thing... Difficulty, or something that really intrigues you. Think about it now... Games usually have a short or simple story.. Games are straight forward.
My theory to why youth today (sadly that includes me cause age) are disrespectful and feel obligated to things is because of one thing:
The games they played simply gave. They didn't work for it. They get stuck in a real life situation and it ends more messed up than it started.
See, if they played a game which beat them down, had an in-depth story, etc... They'll understand a whole lot more about things.. Value their achievements, and be respectful more often.
Now I'm pretty sure it isn't the most significant thing in a child's development but I'm sure it does something.
I can only speak from experience and observations though. Don't quote me on that :P

Some are certainly better than others...
However depending on which rankings you subscribe to Symphonia almost always nets top 3 if not top position.
