I've mained a mass driver on my logi ever since they only had 4 shells in the drum (mag? clip?), with assault only having 6, despite the animation always showing 8.
Except that it was more like you only had 2 shells cause half the time the shell wouldn't explode, or it would literally fall through the map.
These bitches with jumpy suits, sidearms, flux grenades make me laugh. I don't think I've ever lost a 1v1 against another mass driver user, and that's even without the use of these things on my logi.
The arc angle is so programmed in my mind that I can often direct hit players high up on ledges that don't expect a 400 explosive damage shot to the face (about 480 armor damage if I tease off their shields with splash hits)

Hell yeah, mass driver logi for the win. I remember back when they fixed hit detection for the splash and everyone cried OP because all of us who'd dealt with the faulty splash were melting face because we could hit almost everyone at any distance because you had to be able to land four or five consecutive shots to get a kill.

It's my favorite officer weapon cause they combined the variants just like they did with the officer forge. The only thing it doesn't have is the increased ROF that the assault has.
-Better splash than proto
-Large blast radius of the assault
-8 shells like the assault
-Same ROF as proto
I wish more officer weapons did this. Imagine an officer scrambler with the same heat build-up and damage as proto, but the RoF and clip size of the assault.
