Would it be worth all that trouble though? I could see someone jumping through these kinds of hoops to, say, vote themselves onto CPM. But all that effort just to bypass forum moderation? Are the Forum posting privileges these days really worth that much trouble?

It only takes a few minutes to make a throwaway PSN and email address, and VPNs are extremely easy and quick to set up depending on which one you use.
The only notable deterrent is the fact that new characters are limited on how much they can post on the forums, but that only delays the inevitable.
