Each time I come back to the forums I see a topic about "Farewells" or "I'm Quitting Dust". Well, this is another one of those topics. I really loved playing Dust, mostly because of the lore; a massive interstellar war of corporate factions vying for planetary resources. This game has a very large concept, hopefully Dust will expand onto the PlayStation 4 or EVE Legion. I started playing near Open Beta, when PlayStation Home was around. A "space" called "The Warbarge Lounge" you could get these special voucher codes and faction outfits for your avatar (unfortunately they only had them for males). That lounge is how it started with me. Anyone remember the intro screen when there were a bunch of Warbarges flying towards a planet? Good times, I won't forget about the OP black and yellow Murder Taxis that were as strong as a tank. But anyway, nothing major has happened with DUST. Like Amarrian tanks, dropships, Minmatar tanks and dropships etc. Aforementioned: It's been a good run playing DUST...
PS: I'd like for you guys to share your memories.

Bye.
The best memories I have will always been when my corp went to war with OH. Those were great times.

Ha! Literally had a post a few hours ago listed as Farewell and mentioned the murder taxi's as well. It's good to know that the majority of the exodus nowadays isn't a GOODBYE FOREVER, but rather leaving and returning once a future is certain. |

I think my fondest memory is watching Spkr4thedead getting bull rushed by a group of mlt blue berries. In a PRO gallante commando no less.
He then came onto the forums about how that didn't make tanks OP.
They call me the Monkey - I like to jump off sh** and piss RE's all over your tank!

One of my fondest memories was the Battle for Caldari Prime event. Amazing artwork. Was hoping that events like this would be a regular thing.

If I don't hear anything about a Port at or before the next FanFest I am going to cancel both my EVE accounts, make Fox the CEO of my Corp, and just play casually until they shut down the servers or I find a better game.

Well.
You seem awefully familiar.
Have we been in a squad? During my Horizon Edge days, right?
Bummed you are leaving, despite myself already leaving.
As for my memories.
I came before most, so I experienced the best, and worst of DUST. Must say, I always had three players I always looked up to.
I forget his name exactly, Snow Raven or something. Leader of WarRavens for a time, very early WarRavens.
Zion Shad. Because he managed to dominate the corporations list with Zion TCD for so long and he drowned my little corps out just hours after resets.
Gem Cutter, the guy who would show me up in matches when we were seeing who could snipe the most. Real fun squadmate.
L.O.T.I.S, PFBH, and Zion TCD were some of the good times. The Caldari Prime event was the highlight of my year back then, it was fun, and really just something I loved. I fought for the slimy Gallente back then though.
Anyhow, I could go back to Manus Peak, to it's days of militia tanks and the time I crashed my LAV into a full LAV on the other side. Some of my first unintentional kills, and easily one of the funniest.
The AR scope, which I miss.
This game has really been great to me. It's moved me from cursing at the screen to calmly sighing and moving on with the game.
PLEASE CCP PORT TO PC AND PS4.

Oh man I remember that place. Slay was such an amazing game to play with lots of friends in the same skype call.
Alliances, Betrayals, Intrigue, Seduction.... wait no I don't mean that ...., uh and Puns..... lots of Puns.
I started playing properly a couple of months before Caldari Prime though had been following Dust's progress since 2009 when I'd first heard about it.
I've been in every major AFW push in faction warfare both EVE and Dust side in the last 3 years and enjoyed working with Amarrian heroes like Thal Vadam, Aero Yassavi, Aisha Ctarl, Templar 12, Maikyl Metsar, Wolverine Canus, Malleus Malificarum, Humble Seeker, Hally Tari Tari, Commander Marquess, Ceej Mantis, Nocturnal Soul, and so many others.
New Eden has represented the highest highs of my online gaming career and the lowest lows.
