I have explored every last nook and cranny of the Marketplace...

Even if it's something only trivial, but a blue/red tag would be nice...

Seeing as we are well into the new year now and apart from the new server and citadels going online in the next few months(?)...

see that's the thing I tell myself, amidst all the unnecessary complaining, is that, plain and simple, people are still employed to work on DUST 514 right now. In real-world terms, people are working on the game, so there's nothing to really worry about.

I may say stupid stuff but I'd never think "the devs have disappeared" and I'd bet half or most people who might, are only trying to tease them out of their corner

And tease them you should! As long as it's good spirited and for the betterment of the community, I'd say it would be more harmful to not speak up.

Fear and fret not! For, I bring good tidings... in the form of Confidence.
You don't need to have faith. We players who have been here more than two years have seen this pattern regularly.
In the far past, we used to give the devs more elbow room and less friction on the forums, so they were free to chit-chat openly about upcoming patches, etc.
As time went by, as WE got more vile in our "social" chit chat towards CCP's every mover and breath,... this silence became the good sign of good changes around the corner. The Silence-technique, is something that WE players have forced into being, more than any other thing we can blame.

Many of us may be number-compulsives in this game, so we keep thinking "Dust is dying", "Dust is broken", "Dust is doomed".
But since the game is providing good profit for the Devs this year, the option of death or disbanding is just not on the table. Nor is there much chance of breaking up the in-house team (who some of us refer to as the 2nd-Squad, after the first worked valiantly but too restrictively) who will be credited with getting the game to turn around like a phoenix.

Wipe from your mind the idea of porting to PS4 for now. That's not a CCP decision, it's a Sony decision. We heard Dust has made some ISK for CCP, but only Sony can tell us if it made enough money for Sony to want to give it a PS4 welcome.
And despite the scandal-mongering that media (even web-media) like to spread, PS3 has NOT been discontinued, just because they've decided not to take any of the units they're making, and ship them to the NZ market anymore.
Staying on PS3 even another two years, would be quite useful for CCP, I suspect.

So the news will be, Warlords 1.3: the biggest update ever in the post-beta game.

OR, Dust 514 proudly introduces Warlords 1.3, containing the most player-requested features in the game's history.

OR, for Warlords 1.3, we are introducing the first vehicle-wide changes, complete with the first of our new vehicle.

No matter what the news, it's all good to me. 2015 was a fun year in this game for me--Dust 2016 is going to ROCK.
