I queued GFW.
Good news- I got in rather quickly
Bad news- little old me (who runs basic gear in pubs), expected a somewhat pub like match with more competition.
Good part of bad news- very good competition, it was entertaining and new.
Bad part of bad news- so much lag, rubber banding every now and then, especially when going head to head against other players, and people leaving match.
Oh and team kill. It's annoying. Sometimes people get in your way -_- I accidentally killed a guy trying to kill a red berry (that I did kill)
I have almost given my self a reason to stick to pubs.
(I really want some faction skins tho)

Lol, deal with it... Also to reduce lag, don't go into the citys... always stay on the outside... Specially if it's meat grinder...

The ssd cant stop the rubber banding and lag once it starts, in my experience.

Rubber banding and network lag are nothing to do with your console or its memory/disk. It's to do with the fact that you have up to 32 players from all over the world playing across the internet, with as much as one to two seconds delay.
I think CCP has done an amazing job of making it feel like people are all in the vicinity of each other, but they can't work miracles with the internet's inherent delays. |
