Is there anything which is now open to me which wouldn't be without ISK? Proto-stomping until the cows come home is boring. Is nomad assault vx.1 the best thing to get? I'd have to be extremely careful when buying one of those though... CCP should create some end-game type items which are 50-250m ISK, maybe as vanity items which don't do much other than cosmetics. Of course there is no money to be made from that but nothing wrong with saying "thanks for playing all these years!" Although every update is a way of saying thanks and I'm grateful for them. >>>YouTube!<<<

Dropships are way more versatile than most players realize and LAVs are great fun to cruise around in. If you run in a LAV with scans, it's easy WP. ;) I cannot be bought, but I can be leased.

I run basic gear 80%, advanced 10%, proto 5%, and officer 5%. I go isk positive pretty much every match. I still don't run pro nonstop because 1. I'm afraid of going broke again even tho k probably won't, and 2, I'm trying to re-improve my skill. I don't give isk away ( I have my reasons, although when I do, it's just 1m isk). I guess I just like seeing te number go up. CEO of Federation Marines 62 Bravo Company!

Getting every Quafe skin costs somewhere in the realm of 500+ mil, thanks to varying availability and rarity of particular skins, and two vX.1 Nomad literally just went in the Player Trading forum for 200 mil apiece, one of which was mine. Seriously overpriced, in my opinion, but they were offering. It actually feels very liberating to not have the tie of a bad monetary decision keeping me here. I can now leave whenever I like without regrets. I'm like that ***** from Casper. No more unfinished business. As far as actual utility of the vX.1 Nomad, there isn't that much better about it. It has an Assault Combat Rifle instead of regular, an SMG instead of a Flaylock, it has a nano-hive instead of an RE, and I think it has ferroscales and reppers? I can't remember. I haven't used the default fitting in a long time, and I no longer have it to check up on. So, basically, the difference between a normal Nomad and the vX.1 version is about 2-3k ISK per death. In terms of actual battle viability, yeah, I loved the vX.1 Much better than a regular Nomad. In terms of price? Fuckin' ridiculous. I miss my vX.1, but, frankly, I'm glad it's gone. The thought that Dust 514 may one day be the game we dreamed it to be. It fills you with Determination!

I run unmodified starter fits all day getting on average 1500 wps per match while losing no isk when I die. I make on average 10 to 15 mil a day. You can't do that with proto gear. Correct , But when i die in an adv suit i think that i wud have had a small advantage i were running proto nd when i die in proto i accept that i was bad or lag and . I don't mind sounding like a 60's free-love hippie, so I say, in a game like Eve DUST 514, you're supposed to consider sharing it. Join lesser-skilled squads that you secretly know are not going to be very efficient in the match because some of them are Newberrys and not yet skilled enough,...and fund them a couple of million each for the day. (To a Newberry, 2 million ISK is astonishing!) Visit one of the educational Chat Channels, and when you spot a player who clearly is trying to learn, but is strapped for ISK, donate 4 million to just that player, so they can continue learning. (That player may remember you, and end up saving your life in a future PC match). Or, just hang around this forum until you read about a player who got scammed our of her month's earnings, and it's given her a bad view of this game...and you can turn her attitude around by re-funding her the loss. If enough of us do this in the game, we'll become Scammers worst enemies. Incidentally, 216 million should NOT be considered a LOT of extra ISK lying around... In a good Planetary Conquest match (no, not the PC matches we're having now, but the serious-mutha kind they used to have two years ago), you can expect to risk 10 million ISK in combat damage if you're a member of a defense-team hired by a Corp you've never worked with before. You can expect to shell out 3 times that up front, as a CEO hoping to hire some Ringers to better your hope of winning a two-day long PC. If your team loses the district, but the Capsuleer who hired you trusts you enough to pay you to try and take back what was lost,.... and so on, and so on. An EVE game is about channeling your earnings somewhere else when you've made ISK----not recirculating it back into the same meat grinder you got it from. Hold onto your 200+ mill ISK, and think of it as a humble amount, in a future that is wide-open and a game that is still unknown. Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne... No story can have life without writers and publishers.
