meaning the item being traded and the payment are both displayed at the same time and once both parties agree to the trade, the items are traded simultaneously. Basically it's a automated escrow service....very common in pretty much any game that has trading.

it is sad i agree . dont care about TOS cause trust was broken. one lil window for proper trading, but thats too much for ccp to handle there goal is to drive sales well my new goal is to drive sales away. |

Hire me, give me a week to prove why I should be paid 3x more than any dev they have now.
But then again they would prob just move me to some VR project... because we can't have talent in the non-VR projects!

Im certain it has nothing to do with the PS3's limitations. More so that they didnt take the time to rig up the back end on Tranquility to work like it does in EVE. The original plan was to end up with an EVE style trade window but....ya know, the Great Silence happened

A trading system should be simple. But keep in mind that even Eve Online players can figure out ways to scam players even in a system that has built-in safeguards.

I think that was back when CCP Jian was the Executive Producer before he was replaced with CCP Rouge and CCP Rattati.

Just a reminder, the only trade that is actually protected by CCP from any scams is that which involved Redeemable Codes like the ones for the Templar set.

Its a sandbox game also an mmo game... They only care about scams if they violate the tos. Deal with it, they will never make a safe way to trade. Its also a role-playing game...

its just shady, its a practice to drive up sales and competition .. I'm by no means a new player... I'm not the smartest guy. sorry. But a word of warning to the players about the risks would have been nice also being able to get to the forums from ingame to read the rules and tos and eula ext. would be good its a buyer beware thing i guess. some day some one is going to get mad about ccp's crap and take it out in the real world on real employees ... i dont want to be around on that day... i would never do anything like that im happy to quit and ***** and troll about it till i find a better game or somthing else to do or just get tired of it... but hell we got school shootings and bombs in churches... eve is cut throat for sure but the real world is worse. ccp do something before the wrong guy or girl goes nuts... we gamer's take this pretty seriously |

i am aware of New edens past. i am also aware of how mmors effect peoples real lives ... so if you and i meet up to buyand sell something in real life and you dont give me what i paid for im gonna beat the hell out of you .. simple as that thats how dust trading is its not through a second party like i get scammed at ebay its just not the same . i am out for blood im after the player in real life now ... its not a joke or even a game it was important to me it ment something to me i dont have a great life im not real smart or have many friends ... but i had dust i dont have that now the game is ruined i wont stop till i get mine or feel better i miss dust and how it made me feel now i have less then i did and thats not ok .. im going to get even. its going to cost me i know it but im going to see this made right ... to that player im on my way i have some clues to who you are and where you are in the real world i will find you and scam you so you know how it feels ... to ccp i will take as much time and money from you as you have from those of us you alow to be scamed like this its not cool make other secure ways of trading or... suffer like you let us suffer. any one who feels the same can contact me i have some info to share on ccp we can unite and change this show them we the customers are why they get to make games its not ok you are not alone we can get stronger together singly it is overwhelming but chip at it a lil each day and we can change things ... yes you can get scammed in real life and in eve but in both places you can do something about it... thats what im going to do... i have seen what unhappy customers can do to a company ..if we stand together we can show them. |

ATLANTA-Georgia Governor Nathan Deal announced today that CCP Games, the Reykjavik, Iceland-based digital entertainment developer, will relocate its CCP North America headquarters from Gwinnett County to the City of Decatur in DeKalb County. This move is expected to create 150 new jobs over three years, bringing the company's U.S. staff total to 300 by 2013... i am hell bent to see this fixed... learned how to put a web server on a vm today getting a domain soon to show people this crap... i may be an avarage joe and this is just a game but like i said it was my game it helped me it gave me something and it all is gone now i wont rest till this is changed for the better. |

make fun of me i know my life is not grand i live with my family in a trailer i lost my wife and job i am broke have bad teeth cant get a girl ... but i had dust it was important to me with not much else in my life ... i bragged about new eden not many people play ccp games i felt 1337 cause i didnt play wow i played a hardcore game like eve. i play eve when i can afford it it then there was dust. free to play . i bought stuff i supported you guys at ccp held you up to a higher standard put you on a pedestal.... just to be kicked in the teeth ... |
