Warlords 1.0 aka AUR lords 1.0 SHOULD have been
in addition to the terrible AUR machanics you should of been able to enter the MCC lobby with your squad in place of the merc quarters.
that would of actually made it feel as if you actually owned a warbarge.
bonus points if the merc quarters terminals made their appearance in the warbarge, and the potential to share your sexy hologram lady with your less fortunate squad mates.
it would of also renewed interest in vanity skins as then you could have that warbarge lobby to show them off to all your friends :P
what a missed oportunity that im sure the players may have suggested if they were at all consulted about the warlords update :P
this is why nothing about 1.3 can excite me, dead silence means its nothing but another AUR update.

So warlords should have just expanded on cash grabbing with a couple of shiny things and nothing to do with gameplay?

warlods DID just expand on cash grabbing and diddnt add gameplay, but at least they could of givin us the warbarge lobby back to compensate....

I totally I agree I just think if we are going to talk about what it should have been as opposed to what it was then we should do just that instead of expanding on the failure that it was.

I totally I agree I just think if we are going to talk about what it should have been as opposed to what it was then we should do just that instead of expanding on the failure that it was.
but i miss the warbarge soooo much, playing tag, playing pile on, just playing games with my guys before a match.... loads of fun and it added some much needed non-killy social aspect...
then they removed the content and something was missing.
just like all the other content that was removed from the game.

The list of "should have been" in regards to DUST is immense. Trying to keep it tied to a certain run of patches is like saying "you know what this burning house needs? Air conditioning."
