-Introduction- I had previously made a list similar to this before... it wasn't complete and I did not take the time to maintain it due to being both lazy and busy. Finals are over and now I have time to recreate it. Remember this is just a start...
-How will this work?-
There will be two sections to this thread, PS3 and PS4. The PS3 section will be broken into three parts as follows: PS Exclusives, Multi-Plats and Indies/Classics. The PS4 will just have a general list with no breakdown due to it's small game count due to being new. Since a lot of series were born through out the PS3 generation, if there is a specific game within the series just comment below and I will add it in parenthesis by the game series. Welp, that's it.... Feel free to recommend any games below and I will update the list as soon as I can. Can only build the list with the help of fellow gamers.
Note: The games don't have to be "great", if you enjoyed the game and want others to try it out, add it yourself. Only post playable games, and don't argue on what should/shouldn't be on the list. This thread's main purpose is to find games you haven't tried out. Got any questions? Just post below

There was a little known and played game for the PS3 that they gave out once for PS Plus called Puppeteer. I was really surprised by how good it was, as I wasn't expecting a whole lot. It was kind of a platformer, not unlike LBP, but with a much different aesthetic.
You played as a puppet on a stage, as if in a play, and each part of the level gets is a different stage set. All you have is some scissors, and you cut your way through scenery and enemies.
The story was the best part, being both playful and entertaining, even more so than the LBP story lines.

So many great games on the ps3, makes me wonder why I ever bothered getting a ps4. Most of what I play on ps4 are remastered ps3 games lol. |

The platform does not matter, you are comparing a 2 year library to a 9. Of course it looks like right now there aren't many good games right now, it always starts like this with every new generation...
